The hotel is very well located, the rooms are spotless, the common areas are in perfect condition, and the receptionists are very friendly, especially Frank, who recommended several places to visit. He was always smiling and very pleasant. If you're looking for a hotel that's close by, clean, and has friendly staff, this is the hotel for you. It's a 5-minute train ride from the central station. The hotel is 2 train stops from the airport.

Garden-level room and experience

I got a garden-level room, but overall I was dissatisfied with the experience. The room’s window faced a four-lane road and the adjacent sidewalk, which meant very limited privacy. The room was also cold, and even after turning on the heating, it didn’t warm up properly — I ended up using the hairdryer to heat the room. The interior was outdated, not at the standard expected from a 4-star hotel. Although the hotel’s proximity to the station is convenient for travel, the surrounding area is a bleak office/industrial district with absolutely no atmosphere. If I closed the blackout curtains to avoid people looking in from the street, the in-room lighting was too dim, making the space feel even less comfortable. Overall, the room was below expectations. On the positive side, the breakfast was tasty and varied, the reception staff were helpful, and it was convenient that I could leave my luggage at the hotel free of charge after check-out until my flight.

Well located, a couple of stations from Schiphol and one from Amsterdam Central. Polite and helpful staff. Big, well appointed, rooms with an excellent shower. Good breakfast. Good value for money.

Not impressed at all, specially as an accor member

Location is good enough, short train ride from the airport and to the centre (5min). The Hotel looks nice on the outside. but personally I did not like it and I don’t think it can be classified as 4*. Cleaning was awful, had hair from previous guest in the sink and on one of the coffee mugs and the box where the tea/coffee is stored. The carpet on the room has seen better days, and one of the mattresses was dirty (and nor comfortable). Room size was good. We had breakfast one of the days and it was passable, for the price you pay in the centre just for a coffee, this was worth it, and also, the staff was very nice in there. During check in they weren’t nice at all, like they were doing me a favor, did not acknowledge me as an Accor member nor the welcoming drink that I’m entitled to, and gave me the wrong room number and key (we booked 2 rooms, one wasn’t ready yet as it was a hit early), and when I came down to say it to them, they asked “did you go to the right one?” (hmm, yes I did, to the room number that was written down lol), they didn’t even apologized properly. The night staff were nicer. Also, no body cream or conditioner available in the room (I would expect this in a 4*). Internet was very slow.
