Nice hotel in City Center

Good hotel right in the middle of Trier. It couldn’t be any more central as it’s in the heart of the pedestrian zone. Our twin bedded room was nice and bigger than expected, although there isn’t much hanging space and no drawers. We really appreciated that breakfast was served until 11 a.m. even on weekdays.

Central nice stay

Centrally located hotel in Trier. Comfortable yet very small room with fairly large sanitary restroom. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. All in all highly recommended stay for a reasonable price.

A pleasant stay!

Stayed for one night for business. I wasn’t expecting much for an Ibis Styles, however I must admit, it was a pretty good stay. Location is excellent right in the heart of Trier and some great cafes close by etc. Rooms are spacious, clean and simple, nothing fancy but thats their vibe. I feel they have been recently renovated as they were in a great condition. Comfortable beds, pillows were a but lumpy and lack lust… could do with newer firmer ones or at least a choice of a firm and soft on the beds. Had access to an Iron and Ironing board delivered by house keeping and good lighting etc. the only let down as it got quite warm and the AC doesn’t work, luckily it was only about 18° outside otherwise it wouldn’t be pleasant and there was a noisy generator noise outside the windows so you couldn’t sleep with them open (which you couldn’t really hear closed). Staff here pleasant and breakfast was included. A colleague stayed at the Best Western and visiting him there, the Ibis was defiantly the better choice. I would stay here again on my next visit.

Exceeded my expectations and comfortable place to stay

I was very happy with this hotel. The lobby had a short flight of stairs, but there were apples, tea, coffee, and croissants. There were two buildings in the small square, but there was a lift to get there. The hallway smelt a bit musty though. The room was quite big and had a good view of Trier, and you could hear the bells from the church, but the window shut them off if you did not want to hear them. Another great part was that you could fit the luggage under the bed which saved a lot of space. There was artwork on the walls in the bathroom and room of Roman statues. The bathroom was decent and the vanity was big. One of the best parts is that the table was foldable, so you didn't have to waste space.

Good location and facilities

I stayed in a twin room as a single and found the room adequate but it would be compact if you had 2 people- luggage would likely be under the bed! The bathroom was quite spacious, with plenty of options for where to put your toiletries. Only hand and shower soap/wash was provided but it said other items could be purchased at reception. Towels were a little small but not scratchy. Shower pressure and temperature were fine. The room had some fold out features, including a desk, luggage rack and vanity, but the only PowerPoint was at the desk- nothing beside the bed. The room had a safe, no fridge or wardrobe but there was hanging space. Tea and coffee was available for free in reception and other drinks for purchase. The breakfast room was in the first floor and had a good range of hot and cold food available.
