We came to leeds for an event at the Arena. The hotel is very well located, within a couple of minutes from the arena and surrounded by bars and restaurants. The hotel is modern and our room was perfect. I couldn't hear any of the noise from outside and had a great night's sleep. I read previous reviews about the room being too warm and brought my little shark fan with me, but didn't need to use it as the room tmperature was fine. When we arrived at the hotel, we found that we had made a mistake and didn't have a reservation for that night. The hotel was really busy because of yhe event at the arena, but Pam at the front desk was so lovely and helpful and managed to accommodate us. It feels increasingly rare to find people who genuinely care at work, but Pam really took time to help us, show us the options, give us the WiFi details, keeping our bags safe while we were trying to resolve it and so on. Thank you so much.to Pam, she made a real difference for us and I really appreciated her help.

No frills stay

Stayed here for one night. Had no issues with air con or heating like mentioned in previous reviews. Room was clean and had everything you need. Bathroom was small but shower was hot and again everything you need. I did not like the fact that there were only two towels in the room, one for each guest. This meant using your bath towel for drying hands after washing them and to stand on out of the shower? No hand towel or bath mat was really annoying. Didn’t pay for breakfast or use any other part of the hotel. Always miffed when checking out that we weren’t asked how our stay was… but they never seem to ask this anymore wherever you go. Customer service is always lacking in budget hotels I have found. Overall a good stay but don’t be so tight on the towels.

Absolutely fantastic weekend. We were in Leeds for a concert on Saturday night so thought we would make a weekend of it. The Ibis Styles was absolutely fab. Checked in on line we asked for a room we have had before as it has a wonderful view. Sure enough we were given the room we requested. Super clean, gorgeous comfy bed, peaceful. Ticked all the right boxes for a perfect stay. Many thanks to the Ibis team 👏👍

One of the worst hotel experiences ever! Staff are awful. Very rude and abrupt. Reception area smells of curry. No recognition for Accor members in any form. No working air conditioning, reception did nothing about this. Hotel is accommodating some social housing 'guests' who are not the nicest of people to encounter. Breakfast abysmal, food on hot plates was dry and barely warm - No fresh food at all. Worst Accor hotel I've experienced.

On arrival I was allocated a room at the back of thehotel on the first floor - considering the hotel is right in Leeds City Centre this was VERY quiet. Pillows wre great, meaning I slept well. On entering my room it was cool, the air conditioning was superb and housekeeping had left a key in. The room was feature rich although lacking tissues, and the toilet was FAR too close to the side of the bathroom and toilet roll holders, meaning banging your legs all the time when using the loo... Shower was excellent though. As well as the toiley not being practical, my other criticism was - this hotel is in the centre of one oif the largest cities in the country. And has no bar!! The bar to get the complementary drinks is in the Indian restaurant, and even on the Saturday night I stayed it closed at 21:30 - VERY UNSATISFACTORY!! Even the local Co-Op which had a good selection of drinks closes at 21:00!!
