I have stayed in many hotels for work and I must say this is one of my favourites. The hotel is very close to everything but my favourite part is the staff. The staff are welcoming, friendly and bend over backwards to make your stay memorable. The hotel serves food which during my stay was served quick and was fresh. The breakfast in the morning couldn’t be faulted, plenty of choice and topped up regularly. The rooms are clean and modern and the beds are comfy. I would definitely stay again! Thank you team ibis!!

Not great. Door key cards were being problematic, had multiple visits to reception on each day of my visit. Food wasn't great and portions were very small. Tea wasn't topped up in my room and I am a serious tea drinker.Phone signal on my network is very poor( not really hotels fault but still a pain) Staff seemed nice and friendly and the room was good.

Stayed here Friday night, with my family cannot fault the staff, so polite and friendly, new manager couldn't have been nicer especially as it was absolutely hectic with the hotel full of kids and families as it was a fight weekend, few faults were no hair dryers in any of the 3 rooms we had and radiator in one room wouldn't turn off was like sleeping in a sauna, taxi service that runs from hotel is a joke to, but again not the hotels fault, would stay again only because of the staff,

After a previous visit was ruined by other guests, Ibis decided to offer us another visit so they could resolve the issue and I am now satisfied that the hotel doesn’t have regular trouble makers as we had a lovely night sleep last night, so therefore removed other review. The beds are “firm” however this is how me and my partner like it, we slept really comfortably. My daughter also had the best sleep in the hotels travel cot, the room had great quality curtains so the room stayed dark even when light, meaning she stayed asleep until 8:20! (Very rare) We had the hotels breakfast in the morning which was nice, very lovely quality coffee, hot chocolate and especially sausages. I’d love to know the brand of hot chocolate as it was very tasty! As my family are from Yorkshire, we would visit ibis styles again and we are glad that we were given another opportunity to enjoy the hotel like we should have the first time. We also had a giggle that they gave a fruit shoot with mine and my partners Prosecco, our daughter was over the moon!

Too noisy and uncomfortable bed

Unfortunately this was not a good stay for us, as we hardly had any sleep. We stayed on a Saturday night, and the frequent sound of room doors banging shut kept us awake until the very early hours of the morning. Although the reception staff were very welcoming and professional, we will not be staying here again, it is far too noisy, the bed was uncomfortable and overall this was not a pleasant experience.
