Had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in Hoi An. Excellent service from start to end. Ludovic the Gm was an excellent host, all his staff were fantastic with special kudos to Linh and Sara in the Club Floor / Executive Lounge for going above and beyond for hospitality.

Staff was good but I think they could improve more for 5 star hotel standard (compare with staff service in Thailand). Food in Hotel restaurant was very nice and affordable.

Our expectations were met where our requests were concerned. We were upgraded and that was marked a good start to the vacation. Room service was prompt. However, wish there was more to choose from in terms of the restaurant menu especially when one was confined to the hotel on rainy days. Staff was ever so pleasant especially Quianh (not sure if I spelt her name correctly). She advised us on the tours to take and was ever so accommodating with our requests. Unfortunately, in an effort to be acknowledged by the hotel, some staff seem rather pushy in wanting a good mention in trip advisor which I thought was a bit much. Everything in the room was fine except for the shower area - the temperature fluctuated and at times, the cold water provided warm water most of the time. There wasn't a proper place to put all the toiletries needed and considering how small the bottles were, we had to ask for it to be replenished often. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and am glad I chose the Hotel Royal Hoi An - MGallery!

Accommodation and staff great- breakfast needs rethinking.

As noted in my short sentence the accommodation and staff were excellent but the breakfast service was the poorest of all the hotels we stayed in across Vietnam. There really needs to be hot drinks ready with constant refills rather than waiting for 10 minutes (once you have let a waiter know you want a coffee) and then getting a cold drink. A refill needs to be asked for and then a fresh cup is bought over - this is so inefficient and must create a lot of unnecessary washing up. The happy hour should also be a constant time across all the bars in the hotel as the staff were confused as were us the clients - why would you have a different happy hour in the rooftop bar versus the other ?

Our 3 days spent @ The Royal Hoi An was very comfortable & enjoyable. We were able to enjoy the roof top pool & bar. The breakfasts offered multi choices. Good location to be able to walk into the old town of Hoi An. We loved the decor of the hotel & especially our room that overlooked the river.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly & helpful. Quality of food good. However, we did find that the room was very dimly lit. Also, there were hanging lights above the desk area, which was arranged differently to the other rooms, so every time you sat down and got up, you knocked your head. We used the kettle for tea, but unfortunately, there were no sockets at a sensible height, so I had to use a socket on the floor. Comfy bed and nice bed linen, but towels are old and need replacing.
