The television is not smart TV. No YouTube or Netflix channel. The checkin front desk receptionist are not very friendly especially towards local. They have to be mindful that it is the local that brings in the income during this border control period. The area behind the TV was filthy and extremely dusty. The bathrobes were frayed. The bedsheet were dusty, and I found a bug on the bed. The only saving grace was the spaciousness of the room and the staff at LeBar. They were friendly, welcoming and hospitable, especially Chris.

Disappointing staycation

We booked a Prestige Family suite and luxury room for our family staycation. Unfortunately the Prestige family suite has no view at the suite. We feel cooped up and disappointed as the photos in Sofitel website has misrepresented the suite. My husband was so upset he wanted to go back and the rest of family members have to pacify him. Nonetheless the vacation was ruined.

Booked a 3D2N stay recently and everything went well except for the check in. The check in timing was at 3pm, however there are only 2 counter and the check in was quite slow. Overall, i had an amazing stay here and definitely will come again.

环境好。房间装璜依旧漂亮。 但是,这一次的体验比前此两次都差。 首先,发现睡床的床褥陷进去。 或许是因为人手不足,两天的房间打扫都拖延至近傍晩时间。对于常住客,非常不舒服。床单没有更换。抹手的两条小毛巾也在第二天、第三天都短缺没有补上。 晚上8点半,在人数不多的意大利餐厅用餐,但是在等待食物上桌的时间非常久,从前菜之后,超过 75分钟在等待主食,真不可思议!

my stay was made even more fun with the polite and friendly staff at Sofitel Sentosa. From my check in to my dining in experience, my family and I felt the warm welcome. An experience we do not get from big hotels. Special mention to Sudip, Fish and Nicholas for their wonderful service!

住宿体验与五星饭店的距离 这是一次很不同的住宿体验,是为了庆祝结婚周年和女儿生日所特别安排的宅度假,这一次的住宿体验从订房过程到退宿,都离五星级饭店的水准有着相当遥远的距离。 住宿前:写了电邮询问住房报价,饭店客服平均回复电邮的速度在2天以上,收到饭店报价后,回复了确认订房所需的所有资料,两天后饭店仍是是没有回复,打了很多通电话,终于拨通后才能确认订房。(相比我同事在同样时间询问了MBS的报价,他们是在2个小时内回复电邮) 入住前四天前,收到电邮提醒需要在入住前预订泳池与餐厅,三天前收到可以选择以优惠价格升等的电邮(入住当天才能确定,不保证一定能升等),由于对于预定餐厅、泳池以及补价升等有些疑问,当天打了超过15通的电话都无人接听或接通后就被挂断,发了2次电邮以及在饭店脸书的讯息板上留言,都没有收到回应,在2天后才收到饭店回复相关询问的电邮,对于为什么饭店电话无人接听的询问,饭店的回复是因为有大量的电话涌入,所以电话无人接听,而所有升等房皆满订无法升等,家庭连通房也无法预订。 入住当天:为了避开人潮,特地晚半个小时到饭店办理入住,抵达时,饭店柜台说因为我之前电邮中询问了是否有家庭连通房,目前有连通房但还在整理中需要一个小时,所以让我们到Le Bar 喝杯迎宾饮料,我很感谢谢饭店的安排,因为是和孩子出游,所以有连通房多等一小时是可以接受的。大约半个小时后,柜台打来要我到礼宾部拿房卡,去了礼宾部,房卡还没准备好,我们又等了一会儿才拿到房卡,由于第一次入住,我们需要询问礼宾部人员后,才知道房间的位置。我们订房时是有特别的企业优惠配套,所以有含早餐、每房迎宾红酒一瓶,和每房每晚S$60餐饮抵用金额,所以感觉相当的实惠。 进入房间后,连通房的房门并没有打开,所以我需要打去请房务部来开通连通房。本来期待进房后会看到迎宾红酒以及祝我们结婚周年庆快乐以及女儿生日快乐的小卡(根据以往的住宿经验,饭店都会让我们一进房就感到备受礼遇),不过这一次什么都没有,有些小失望,由于没有任何人员和我们说明早餐是否有早餐卷、餐饮抵用金的用法,所以安顿好后我们就到柜台询问,然后我也和柜台提及房内没有迎宾红酒,很意外的是柜台人员竟然要我自己打电话到客房服务部要求红酒,这是我不曾遇过的,我告诉柜台我们既然已经在柜台了,麻烦她们直接联络客房服务部将酒送到房间,因为这是配套内的,不应该由客人自己打电话去要求,我们在乎的不是红酒,而是服务的品质,虽然柜台人员看起来不是很情愿,但有答应我们会安排。 用餐体验:登记入住时,柜台说饭店的两个餐厅The Cliff-意大利餐厅有婚宴Kwee Zeen 也满订,所以无法预订,去了Le Bar,服务人员说我们可以从The Cliff 订餐,然后在Le Bar用餐,所以我们就订了2份比萨、意大利面、番茄奶酪沙拉。上餐后,意大利面很一般,披萨饼皮的底部是黑的,上面也很明显多处烤焦,我不确定烤焦的披萨是不是这家意大利餐厅的特色,因为对于烤焦的东西,我的概念这是不健康的,而这一餐唯一好吃的是番茄沙拉。 第二天我们选择了Kwee Zeen的国际自助餐,餐点有海鲜、握寿司,选择不多,不过烧肉很好吃,海鲜的部分生蚝很干,蟹以及龙虾吃起来不是太新鲜,水果和早餐的一样,甜点选择不多,特别的是饮料只有白开水,当我们问服务人员有没有咖啡和茶,她说没有,需要另外加点,我们吃过很多饭店的自助餐,第一次遇到没有提供茶和咖啡的自助晚餐,晚餐的价格是$68++,也就是$80一个人,这种价格却不提供茶与咖啡,是很令人傻眼的体验。用完餐时,有一位好像是主厨的人来询问我们的用餐体验,问我们怎么这么快就用完餐了,先生说感觉海鲜是冷冻直接退冰,不是太新鲜,这位先生说叫我们直接扫描二维码,反馈给饭店的管理部,当时我们想已经直接反馈给主厨了,竟然还要再扫码填反馈,真的是多此一举。 吃完晚餐我们回到房间已过9点,结果红酒还是没出现在房内,我只好再打电话去询问,告知服务人员我们有两间房,所以有两瓶红酒还没送来,后来客房服务人员只送来了一瓶红酒,我告诉他刚刚已经说明我们有两间房,应该送两瓶,他说需要回去再确认,隔了好一会儿才补送一瓶红酒。这种感觉很差,好像我们是贪杯之徒,一定要要到两瓶红酒才行,这种服务完全不符合我所期待的五星级入住体验。 退房:这应该是最特别的退房体验,同样为了避免人潮,我们提前15-20分钟去退房,看到账单时发现金额不对,原本配套中每房每晚的餐饮抵用金额只折抵了一个房间,当我告知柜台我们两间房都有这个抵用金额,她很坚定的说是我弄错,只有一间房享有这个折扣,我请她查清楚,这位柜台人员才很不情愿的进到后面办公室查询,过了很久她出来后,我拿给她看我从电邮中找到的订房配套,她看也不看就拿给我一张新账单,新账单餐饮的费用对了,但房价变高了,我告诉她这个房价比我所订的房价高,她脸色很黑,坚持说这是正确的房价,我告诉她我的订房价格,她完全不理会我坚持账单没有错,这时柜台后方退房的房客已经排起了长龙,她一点也听不进我的话,我实在不想为了小钱跟她继续争执让后面的客人继续等待,就签了帐单,她竟然还问我需不需要账单,我跟她说当然需要,她没好气的直接就把账单给我,不像其他饭店的做法,账单在客人确认后,好好的装入信封给客人并感谢客人的入住,我对于这位柜台人员的服务态度感到非常无语。 这是我第一次遇到这么不专业和没礼貌的饭店柜台人员,饭店溢收住宿费用的部分是其次,柜台人员完全不清楚客人的住宿配套,给错两次账单,从头到尾黑脸给客人看,认为客人在强词夺理,这种五星级的服务态度,实在令人不敢恭维。我们全家对于这次的住宿体验感到十分地失望。 后续:回家后,发了电邮给饭店告知溢收费用之事,令人意外的是这是第一次当天就收到饭店的回复,经理Mr Liew 回复会跟进这次的事件。隔天我也在电话中把上述的反馈告知Mr Liew ,饭店经理很客气的为我们所受到的遭遇感到抱歉,隔天经理回复了电邮,确定饭店溢收了住宿费,并会将溢收的费用退回。 这是一次很不一样的五星级住宿体验,令人遗憾的是我们的结婚纪念日以及女儿的生日因为这一连串的不愉快,而无法留下完美的回忆。 我想当客人选择入住五星级饭店时,本身对于饭店的服务品质已经有着一定的期待,非常可惜的是,圣淘沙索菲特饭店所提供的服务,与我们体验过其他很多家的五星级饭店,有着十分遥远的距离。

This is my 10th stay at the Resort. Comfortable and gives me good setting for my video conference meetings as well. It'd be great if the HDMI ports are working and that the TV could be used as an extended monitor. However, the TV setting were set to disallow that. That is a likely area for improvement. Other than that, all's good.

My wife and I were so happy to take a break to join in the Halloween VIP Experience at Universal Studio in Singapore. So our first choice resort to put up during the weekend definitely is Sofitel of Sentosa. Because of the greenery and quiet environment. Also another key reason was the Resort Team will always warmth and friendly. Thank you so much for your excellent services that made us felt like ‘Home’ every times. Sofa on which my boy slept on was likely having some Bugs or dust mites in room 452 We otherwise enjoyed our stay Food was good Swim pool was lovely Drinks were great at Lebar Food was yummy Except noodles we had should have some cut chilli or sambal and lime to make it better and tastier Appreciate May care and attention fr Lebar . Fish spa was the highlight for the kids Late checkout was a bonus Parking was free so that’s great too Didn’t go anywhere cos the hotel was just too comfy to head anywhere else

No notice of renovation

I booked this hotel by my husband's recommendation because he is the member of this hotel. It was such a disappointment! There was some construction work outside my window (room no. 449 ). It was quite noisy throughout the entire day so we couldn't rest well! We wanted to book a staycation at Duo Residences hotel ($246+) or Orchard hotel ($336+) in the beginning but unlike your hotel, those 2 places dutifully informed us that they had ongoing construction work. These 2 hotels' prices were much lower as their hotel management had provided guests with the renovation work time schedule. However, my husband and I were looking for quality service and a relaxing & comfortable environment so we decided on Sofitel to enjoy the quiet resort-style holiday with the price at $600+ per night. But our holiday mood was destroyed by this renovation work! The worst experience was that the worker was walking by my room window which made me feel that there was no privacy at all. This hotel package comes with a 2 course lunch so we had lunch at the cafe after we arrived and settled down. Although we were only able to order from the "menu entitlement", the main courses had such small portions.......my hubby and I had to ask for more bread to fill up our stomachs. Luckily, dinner of 3 courses were served via a buffet style so more food could be requested. The corridor was not safe as the monkey poo was discovered on the flooring everywhere (in the late afternoon)! I had to alert 4 couples who tried to walk across the corridor! I have informed one of the staffs to take action to clean it up asap because I noticed that there were a few couples with pregnant wives. Last but not least, the hangers provided in the wardrobe were not practical as they have jagged designs on the bottom that tore my favourite Shawl! So sad!

Exterior of the compound still looks good but not or the room interior. Looks a little rundown. The check-in was rather slow. I took almost 45mins to get my check-in done and there was long queue behind me. The food and service from The Cliff was good. Had an enjoyable dinner. So Spa was kind of disappointing as the facilities were not well maintained, looks so rundown. The services provided was bad. It was so much different from my last visit years ago. There wasn’t very clear instruction given what I should do moving from place to place. The massage was the only thing is good.

No pre-arrival call or email on check-in time. Poor sound insulation in the rooms. Noise permeates easily and guests were made to use a free WiFi channel which raises questions on data security and connectivity strength.

Good customer service, nice room and ambience, make you feel like you are at an oversea vacation. As the resort is located far in, and due to insufficient time, unable to explore sentosa.... should stay for 2 days instead. Overall a restful staycation and warm services.

our room needs a little refurbishing: smells a little musky; the door slams hard and loud. bad view from my room - overlooks a construction yard. the pool and landscaping in general is nice; with many birds sighted in the compound, including peacocks, hornbills and cockatoos. nice sunset and sea view from the restaurant.

Worst stay; my first and last stay at sofitel sentosa.

1: air-condition was leaking water 2: TV no signal 3: found a used needle on the room floor 4: bathroom tiles on the floor were dropping out and cut our feet We ve called the hotel staff to solve the problems for TV signal and air-condition leakage but needle on the floor and tiles in the bathroom were dropping out ? What if our feet get Injured? Apparently my husband stepped on the needle on the floor but luckily no injuries happen, but estimated 20 pieces of 2cm x 2cm tiles kept dropping out from the bathroom floor when we were showering every time . The tiles edges were sharp and cutting our feet.

poor maintenance , old place . not value for money. food average . Spa very poor . Staff very nice. Gym very dirty . at the end the name is Sofitel , the property is Novatel . you should take care on air conditions , bathroom and showers renovation

A disappointment especially for a “luxury” hotel like Sofitel. This is the worse hotel stay I had, ever. From having to find out yourself where your room is, to the lack of communication between teams, bedroom cleanliness, and customer service. If you are on a specific diet like plant based/vegan I wouldn’t recommend it either. I made an error in choosing full board and paid a high price for it. Never again.
