I would love to stay again this hotel as i was happy overall however customer service MUST improve

Size of room was really big. Washing machine was very useful as we stayed 7 nights and had few washing done while we stayed, and this is one of the reason we choose this hotel. We stayed 28th floor with city view and the view was so nice. I truely enjoyed the view. We also loved that room had Nespresso coffee machine And i liked the hotel used shampoo, Conditioner & body wash dispenser in the bathroom so no more plastic bottles. Nice enough size of bathroom and separate toilet was good too However i was very disappointed by staff services. The hotel says 4.5 star hotel but i would only give 4 star or even 3 star for staff service. Only one number to connect any hotel staff and most of time they can not speak English well so most of time, i have to make a call as im Korean. When we arrived the hotel on the first day, there was no one in the concierge and no one helped us to took our big suitcases. And i was traveling with my parents so the help would be great but there was none. When my parents left the hotel, we asked hotel to book us taxi and the staff did not even helped my parent's suitcase when taxi arrived. He was busy looking at his phone. Very very disappointed! Also noticed there was no English Breakfast tea or black tea so i called guest service and they said they do not have it. I found this was very strange that international hotel do not have English Breakfast tea as most western people (mainly English speaking countries) drinks this tea as Korean drinks coffee. On that last day of our stay, I was very happy with customer service. The male staff who helped us out on 7th Sep 2022 around 12 pm. He was very very polite and opened the taxi door and put our suitcases in the taxi. He didnt need to do that but he insist to helped us which i was very impressed as i did not have a good customer service experience while im stayed this hotel. Thank you Mr (sorry i didnt catch his name)

Equal to a Holiday Inn hotel

I stayed at this hotel for several nights and had two connecting rooms for my girlfriend and her adult children. One of the two said it best “this place is like a Holiday Inn”. That was an insult to your hotel. Our issues started after we arrived from Turkey and wanted to order room service. We were told it would be 1.5 hours. We left the hotel to get something to eat. Our rooms were inconsistently cleaned and throughout my stay we needed to call housekeeping for something–towels, water, coffee, clean an area. I was told there was a 20,000 KW charge for the spa. Was this true? I am a platinum member. I didn’t use the spa because of this. I didn’t question it, but was surprised. I never ate in the hotel because of the high cost–except for room service one time on another night. One night, we all went down to the first floor to play cards. We weren’t allowed to sit in a large area because it was closing (there weren’t doors—just a rope barrier that was put up after we left). I immediately went to the concierge and their offer was to sit in the middle of the lobby. I repeatedly asked if there was a lounge or something (it was 10 PM)--no offer of ANYTHING else. I asked for the manager to call me and went to my room. I moved a small table and chair from one room into the other where we had two small round tables (small small tables) and two chairs for the 4 of us. The manager did indeed call and I left my family to meet him. He offered tables in a dark, closed area of the “deli”. I said thank you and went back to the room where we continued to play. In a hotel that size, is there is no place for a family to play cards at 10PM? I do NOT believe it. So–slow room service, rooms not done to any standard (you should have, or use, a checklist), high cost for breakfast and dinner (I don’t know about food quality since I didn’t pay 4X as much as a meal outside) and spa charges. My girlfriend’s son said it best–this is like a Holiday Inn (we stayed at a Holiday Inn in Turkey and were pleased with their 3 star level of service). Your hotel is not a 3 star hotel, or is it? I rated it as 3 stars (average). I would not recommend your hotel. Thanks for listening

I stayed on the 32nd floor, a suite room. The view was amazing. As a platinum member I get to enjoy the breakfast & evening cocktail at the lounge on the 26th floor. All sounded good until the breakfast que was more than a 30mins wait! Apparently it’s always overcrowded on weekends- so I was told to go to the 2nd floor- the food exchange - not a dine in - also overcrowded- I was given some boxes to do a take out to eat in my room. The buffet was the same food every morning. So I was already bored with the breakfast by day 3. Wasn’t what I expected when I booked a weekend trip!! Housekeeping was good, the in room menu had a good variety & the food was good. The hotel has a bridge that links to the yongsan station & also some malls. Easy access. There are several hotels that’s connected together to form the Dragon City. Worth a visit.

Nice Worcation for 36 Hours

I have reserved the hotel from Accor All app. I have booked the Indulgence Package, and the staffs graciously upgraded my Junior Suite to Deluxe Suite(thanks to my Accor Gold status) The room was clean and well designed, able to host two-people-at-work. The food at The 26 was delicious, yet the signature Mega Burger from the Megabite was a little bit disappointing(too much grilled veggies). Because of Covid19, some F&B outlets offer limited services; the hotel is famous for its fine outlets such as Sky Kingdom, Food Exchange, InStyles, covering wide spectrum from economic scale to luxury level. If you want to enjoy the full service, you should stay during the weekends. It was a shame that I didn't receive the usual Welcome Amenities(+Letter) usually the Accor chain offers to their Gold-Level-And-Above members, but since they have upgraded the room for 36 Hours, I chose not to claim about it. I would like to revisit the property sooner or later.

The best facilities and overwhelming scenery are excellent. It also satisfies with a professional service system. However, the fact that two hairs came out of the room's towel indicates a decline in the quality of the room service. It wasn't like that before, but something seems to have changed recently. If they're more interested in the cleanliness of the room's equipment, i can say it's the best hotel.
