Heartfelt thanks to all who had make my 1 week stay a very comfortable and pleasant one. Special thanks to the chefs who made delicious breakfast & snack meals for us. Excellent services provided by front desk & front liners (who help in my car park & proactively shelter me with umbrella when it rained heavily), house keeping who provided necessities and not forgetting a very great team at Compass Bar & Restaurant for their warm hospitality. Looking forward to my next stay soon in April.

My sport shoes has been stollen by housekeeping. No parking despite the fact that it mentioned parking in the hotel description Very very disappointed, I will never go back in this hotel and will not recommend it

The hotel not well prepared for the coming surge of occupancy. The hotel own’s parking not available and had to use public parking. Due to the prime location, it is even harder to secure a parking while staying with the hotel. Room’s sewage having bad odor due to long time not occupied. The occupancy will get higher and higher, I hope the hotel is well prepared for it. Before they having their own parking, I will not be coming back because it is frustrating to worried about parking space and parking ticket

Dear Mercure Hotel Kota Kinabalu, This is my first time staying at your hotel. The booking was made via All Accor apps, your official apps I believed. My booking was SUPERIOR ROOM WITH 1 KING SIZE BED AND VIEW. After the booking was made, I make a call to this hotel to confirm my room availability and requested for Sea View. Upon checking in, with not so welcoming vibrant from the front desk, I went up to the given room. Surprisingly, the room is Twin Bed room! Hence, I called the reception and my call was attended by Rizuan. He seems aware that the room given was not as per my request and he proposed to combine the bed. He explained that there was customer who will request to combine the bed instead. I insisted to get King bed and he agreed to give me the room as per my booking but with garden view. Is this hotel is fully occupied until there was no King bed room with sea view? I would like to suggest for Rizuan to attend customer service training course as the way he handle the situation will only makes things worst! Anyway, I would like to express my appreciation to Evyrina, the Compas waitress for an excellent superb accommodating service. She handled my situation very professionally when I found out there is “hair” in my omelette. Anyway, the bed and pillows are comfortable. Room? Small. Toilet? Small. Please check air conditioning at room 1205. I think it’s time to service it. And for that, I gave you 1 star rating. That stay, will be my 1st and last stay at Mecure Hotel Kota Kinabalu. It’s not worth my money.

8/9/2020 evening 6pm I come back from keningau and recheck in to stay one more night. I ask the person who check in for me(very sorry you are so kind and patient enough but I forget to write down your name)I ask where to see the beautiful sunset. She say 22nd floor is one of the best view...! Thanks a lot to allow me have a good memory about your hotel..... it’s really beautiful to stay in room 2210 and I know have family 2/3 rooms apartment with balcony. The service is with full of human feeling, Care and loves. I appreciate the stay heee. Thansk a lot
