Regularly stay at this location. Very friendly staff, rooms are reasonably priced and very clean. Central to everything on the coast. The hotel adjoins the services club which has great facilities. All in all a very enjoyable stay and will stay again.

Check-in was simple with very friendly staff; great views of lake from room. Being on the 2nd floor made access to the adjoining Diggers Club restaurant very easy - good range of choice for meals. Room very well equipped; notably the superbly comfortable bed!

Really disappointing experience - poorly maintained room and view of a brick wall

Meeting N TripAdvisor review

Other people seem to have had so much better experience than we did. I think we must have had the worst room in the hotel - tucked next to reception, with a view consisting of a brick wall from the neighbouring diggers club - easily the worst view I have ever had in a hotel room. The air conditioning for the hotel was just outside the window and could be heard even with the window closed. As for the room - the towel rail was damaged and fell off the wall when lightly touched, the toilet seat wasn't properly attached and slid around when you sat down, the shampoo/ shower gel in the shower was empty, the bed slid around the room when you got on it and the TV wasn't working. I don't like giving negative reviews - and I am genuinely happy that other people have had a better experience - but for us - a really disappointing stay - nowhere near 4* standard.
