This is our second stay at this property, and subsequently my second review within the past month. In our initial review, we raised several concerns relating to our room, breakfast service, and refreshment provisions (stay 1-7 Nov). On returning for our second stay ( 12-15 Nov), it was immediately evident that our feedback had been taken seriously. The attention given to the issues we raised was clear, and we were genuinely thrilled with the changes implemented. These improvements were prompt, thoughtful, and demonstrated a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction rather than any direct benefit to the hotel. A special thank you to Fernanda C. and his team for their professionalism and responsiveness. We absolutely loved our room — it was a welcomed treat — and the complimentary cava was an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture. Thank you. Your efforts significantly enhanced the overall quality of our stay, and the positive changes did not go unnoticed. We look forward to returning again and continuing to enjoy the warmth and care your team consistently provides. R.Tapsell

Nice location.. friendly staff... hotel needs renovation

This one was a bit of a surprise. Pros : great location, friendly staff, got gold member upgrade and a small waffle as an amenity(could be worked better), 1. location is central walkable to most nearly spots within15 mins. 2. Staff is super friendly, they were sympathetic and tried to help as much as possible. 3. There was a balcony in 502 which was nice, but no furniture there as show in pictures. 4. Coffee machine in the room, and drinking water which was nice. 5. Breakfast was good, with descent options, not too many not too few. Some Vegan options would have been a great help if they put in future. Cons: 1. The hotel is in need to repairs and honestly the rooms are designed very immaturely, my toilet seat was behind the washbasin counter and had to ask to change room which was 502, this room was good but sofa bed again was like really bad and broken, so I slept on a mattress on the floor. The manager assured me when checking out they will change all sofa beds. 2. No common areas/lobby, it's more of a sofa and a couple of chairs next to reception desk. That is also the bar. 3. Welcome drinks are becoming an issue at Mercure's so accor should have some standards for different members I guess, but beer/wine/cola is not good enough. 4. To the management of this hotel, why on earth you do not use duvet covers? I mean why two single sheets hide the dirty duvets? I am really shocked because I went to other hotels in Spain and didn't find this. Please find regular Mercure vendor for this. 5. Why do I not receive a link for review from the hotel after 2 weeks? I am reviewing here. I wish to return to this place in future but honestly the first room was a nightmare and second was descent and they should really think about rebranding to an Ibis styles. Because other rooms are super small what I saw.

Comfortable hotel,nice clean,location near the metro, quiet neighboroud,fine breakfast,very kind staff,especially Christina,the receptionist.Nice experience.

Lovely hotel, nice and modern inside. We were greeted by the very friendly reception staff, Natalia and Clara. Arriving in the evening with two tired children aged 6 & 4. They were so nice to our girls and gave them some colouring and lollipops whilst they waited for us to check in. Our family room was very spacious and much larger than we expected. Two rooms (one with a balcony) and a nice sized bathroom with a bath and shower. Our rooms were cleaned every day and we were always given fresh towels. Breakfast was lovely, nice selection of pastries, fruit, cereals and hot food like eggs and bacon etc. All really nice and plenty for our daughters to choose from, again very friendly staff. Reception were always very helpful when we needed taxis ordered or ideas for restaurants. Location was great so we walked a fair bit but taxis were very reasonable when it got too hot to walk back. All in all we had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again.

Good breakfast, very accommodating as they let us have the room early as we landed after a very early flight. This really helped us. Room was clean and tidy and well presented. We had a junior suite with a balcony which was a lovely bonus with fabulous vista at night. No furniture on the balcony, wide gap around toilet door!
