My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary with a two-night stay at the Sofitel Skipper in Barcelona, and overall, it was a memorable experience. While our arrival started with a few hiccups—particularly around our booking and the initial room, which didn't quite meet our expectations—things took a turn for the better thanks to the exceptional service from Josep, the front office manager. He handled our concerns promptly, upgraded us to a much nicer room, and even surprised us with a thoughtful anniversary gift, turning our stay around completely. The hotel itself boasts a sleek, modern design, and the hospitality throughout was truly outstanding. A special shoutout to Carol in the restaurant, whose attentive service at breakfast made every morning delightful. Additionally, Thiago at the concierge desk was incredibly helpful, providing us with excellent restaurant and bar recommendations that perfectly complemented our trip. Despite the initial setbacks, the staff’s professionalism and warmth made us feel valued and well taken care of. If we return to Barcelona, the Sofitel Skipper will definitely be our first choice for accommodation. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a stylish, welcoming hotel with top-notch service!

Despite the beauty of the property itself, what truly makes this hotel exceptional is the staff. Everyone is incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely caring. Quietly centered w/ vibrant feelings

Sofitel is located near the beach with beautiful board walk which can be seen by the rook top! A 15-20 minute walk to the center of the strident city . Staff offered excellent service all around- from the reception, room service and bar/restaurant to the bell man etc. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the ocean/beach. The only issue we saw was that the hours of service said it would closed at 8:00pm yet when we got there the bar was closed at 5:30 pm - it’s unfortunate as out intention in making reservations at this wonderful hotel were to have evening drinks on the roof ! We still give it a 5 stars all around; service, staff, quality, location and decor!
