This was our 3rd stay at ‘our’ beautiful The Reef House. As usual it was a wonderful stay with the impeccable staff treating us like family. It was fun, relaxing, with plenty to do if you want or just stay by the pool and have the butler look after you. Of course we have booked again for next year

A Magical Stay at the Reef House Retreat – Palm Cove’s Hidden Gem 🌴🍷 I’ve written many reviews on TripAdvisor, but few will match the joy and connection we experienced at this magical place called Palm Cove and more specifically, the adults-only Reef House Retreat. We stayed for four nights and found ourselves immersed in meaningful conversations that turned acquaintances into friends. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and effortlessly elegant. For anyone considering a visit, the inclusions are generous and thoughtfully curated: five breakfasts, three yoga sessions, two wine appreciation/tasting sessions, two mixology cocktail classes, five days of pool butler service, a seafood platter (or equivalent), a mineral pool, a regular swimming pool, Brigadier’s Bar, and five evenings of canapés and punch. I hope I haven’t missed of the inclusions and guess what it’s all set right on the Esplanade, making it the perfect tropical getaway. We had the pleasure of attending two wine appreciation sessions. Wine Appreciation #1 was enjoyable, featuring a French Rosé and Pinot Noir. Wine Appreciation #2, however, was a standout—the Sauvignon Blanc was crisp and refreshing, and the Rioja Tempranillo offered a beautifully balanced depth. Rodrigo’s passion for wine was infectious, and his knowledge added so much richness to the experience. Bruno brought unexpected charm to the cocktail class—his unintentionally funny moments had us all bubbly and talkative. Dean and Patryk at reception were outstanding hosts, blending humour, warmth, and exceptional customer service that left us relaxed and smiling. Together, they and all the wonderful staff created a vibrant, joyful environment filled with genuine connection. From start to finish, our stay was filled with laughter, learning, and heartfelt moments. Beyond the hosted activities, the breakfasts were delicious, the mineral pool was soothing, and the overall vibe was peaceful and rejuvenating. The people truly made it special. We plan to return to the Reef House Retreat as part of our travel rhythm (we also enjoy overseas holidays) however this stay will remain etched in our memories. Thank you for creating such a heartwarming and unforgettable experience.

We loved our stay - we would definitely return! Friendly staff, beautiful property, delicious food. The spa was beautiful as well, and we loved the mineral pool.

This is the place to wind down and relax. The food was delicious and all the little extras they supply were perfect. Lots to do if you want and if not just sit round one of the pools and rest. Spa was fabulous as well. Special note to the wonderful staff.
