Everything about our stay at the Sofitel was enjoyable. We had a Club/lagoon room with direct access to the lagoon from our balcony. Our request for sun lounges on our balcony was met because of my mobility issues, this was greatly appreciated. The Club lounge for breakfast, afternoon tea & canapes/cocktails was well worth the price, an intimate space away from the busy restaurant.

Overall, it is still a great hotel - modern, clean, friendly staff, good food with access to private beach. General: 8.5/10 + Modern, clean, friendly staff, access to private beach, great pools (kiddy pool available), access to (optional) water sports. Available parking lot. Easy check in, check out process this time (unlike our previous experience) - We have to pay for some of the activities that was used to be free last year when were here such as renting a bike. Private beach is not really private, some locals are selling stuff. Area is not that big. Room: 8.5/10 + Clean, modern, balcony, good bed and pillow - Ours have parking lot view Restaurant: 9/10 + Semi open space. Breakfast was excellent with lots of varieties at Kwee Zeen! Will be back again here someday.

We love to stay in Sofitel Bali Resort Nusa Dua The place in in quite area ITDC and it very safe and comfortable We like the ambience and the resort is very clean Almost 10 years but looks new We like the architecture and concept of the lobby The kids club' really good for our kids and family with children The teacher (Asri, Juni, Edo, Ida and Manda also Anggi) Will help so much with some activities For sure Will recommend to our family and friends

We recently booked a 3-night stay at the Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. The Honeymoon suite was enormous at 88 sqm and was supposed to be the best room in the resort, with a direct view of the ocean. Sadly, the reality couldn't be further from the truth. The suite looked tired, and was wearing a lot in many areas. The sealants of the bathroom joints were black and mouldy, the bathtub stopper was rusty, and the repairman did an abysmal job of trying to patch the bathtub with some white paste. Sofitel proudly markets itself as offering a pillow menu and "a comfortable bed to elevate sleep to new luxurious heights". Well, that did not happen as the mattress, which felt like it had been there since the hotel's opening, was sunken in the middle and provided no support. We uncovered the bedsheet to check what had caused the uncomfortable night of rest, only to discover that there were strands of hair and a dead insect underneath! We immediately reported these unacceptable features in the "best suite of the hotel" to the duty manager, who offered to show us another similar suite. Unfortunately, the mattress in the proposed new suite was in the same bad condition. Not only that, we discovered strands of hair on the bed as well. At this point, both the Director of rooms and the Housekeeping Manager joined us, and they were just as concerned by what they saw. After some deliberation, we decided that changing suites was not worth the hassle. The manager improved the condition of our assigned suite by arranging for the joints in the shower to be cleaned and redone and replacing a "new" mattress which was not much of an improvement. Sadly, the 5-star Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort has no newer beds. As a service recovery, the manager arranged two sixty-minute massages at the SoSpa and offered a small Opera cake and a fruit basket. We appreciate these friendly gestures, and the staff were apologetic; however, it was disappointing that the hotel did not deliver what it advertised and promised, which was a great pity, as the hotel's location is fabulous, with direct private beach access. The remaining of our stay passed pleasantly enough, but we were in for another surprise during the check-out. We were astonished to learn that Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach Resort has a policy of charging its guests for consuming the Nespresso capsules made available in the suite. The cost may be low, but charging guests who pay top dollar for a suite to make a cup of Nespresso coffee in the room seems wrong. The Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort might once have been the jewel of Nusa Dua, but now it sorely needs good polishing to remove the dust and grime to restore its previous sparkle.

We stay here for holiday and bring 2 children with us The children like to play in the pool and love the kids club The ladies there very helpfull and love to play with children. They entertained our kids happily with Asri, Manda, Ida, Juni, Repin, and Anggita Will miss them so much Next time will visit Sofitel again
