This is a modern, arty hotel in a fantastic central location. The airport tram stop is just a two-minute walk away, directly opposite St Andrew Square, which made getting around the city extremely easy. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly and kindly accommodated an early check-in, which was very much appreciated. The lobby area is attractive and comfortable, with a bar/lounge space and equally friendly staff, making it a pleasant place to relax. Breakfast was good and well organised, with plenty of choice, especially for a continental-style breakfast. Options included cereals, toast, pastries, cheese and salami, along with scrambled eggs and a good-quality coffee machine. The queen-size room, although on the smaller side, was modern, clean and comfortable, and very quiet at night. The bathroom was compact but also modern and clean with a good shower. The room amenities included a kettle with tea bags, full-size mugs and a small bottle of long-life milk. The window could be partially opened for fresh air, which was a nice touch. Additional amenities included a hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo. There was no fridge or safe, but this did not detract from an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Comfortable stay with clean rooms. Staff member usman and gosia were friendly and helpful. Good location with easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, a pleasant experience

Spent a one night stay in this city centre hotel and would recommend it. Great location a few minutes walk from bus and railway station and right in the heart of the city attractions. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. The public areas were well laid out and the service was very good. Breakfast was included with our visit and for a “ continental breakfast“ the choice was much better than expected. Overall very happy with our visit

We randomly selected this hotel as we planned a last minute trip for Hogmanay Celebration because of its walkable proximity to Old Town and New Town. it was a lucky Home Run. We arrived early and the staff did their best to get us checked in before the usual 3 oclock after traveling all night. The room was quiet, clean and the bed was great!. It was more like a small boutique hotel than a corporate monster. Nice lobby sitting area with bar, water, coffee and drinks available. Breakfast was great with a large selection of fresh food to choose from. We were there for 6 nights so we got to know the staff who we often approached for suggestions or help. They all were great but hats off to Tatiyana and Adin who were the evening crew. Always, available, affable, and helpful. We will be back and it is a perfect place to stay in central Edinburgh
