Such a wonderful hotel in the Windy City. I booked through Amex and received additional perks. First tip, get Executive Lounge Access as part of your room perk. It costs more but is well worth it. This is a wonderful service Sofitel offers, it includes high tea with light snacks and beverages . They also offer a happy hour which features select wines, beer and other beverages. The room was wonderful. I had a corner room and it had a picture perfect view of the picturesque homes on the hill. The room was spacious, the bed was some of the best sleep I had during my vacation. The bathroom was large and very modern. The breakfast was good. We stayed for dinner and the signature pork belly dish is amazing. The staff is very friendly and professional. Just a perfect stay.

Really great hotel. Beautiful rooms and facilities. Has a luxurious and high end vibe to it. Really appreciate Sergio for his warm and friendly service and excellent advice for exploring Wellington. Luca was outgoing really helpful when my wife suffered a sprained ankle, and we always looked forward to breakfast at the hotel restaurant thanks to Jossy - who clearly had a knack for making the customers feel welcome with her warm and fun personality.

Fantastic room. The restaurant is exceptional, Michelin review worthy.

An incredibly well run restaurant. Every detail is given attention at dinner. The food is very high quality. The service is thoughtful and timely. The desserts are maybe a little over the top, but it is dessert after all, so why not have a little fun?

We stayed two nights at the Sofitel Wellington after taking the Picton-Wellington Interislander ferry from the south island. The hotel is centrally located, which makes it easy to walk to restaurants and many of the historical sights in Wellington, as well as shopping. The overall service was very good--the bell hop/valet was awesome! We parked our car through the valet parking ($55 per day), which is not cheap, but the valet helped us unload our car, parked our car and went to get it for us several times during our stay, as well as helped us load the car upon our checkout. City parking is never cheap and this was convenient and our car was available any time that we wanted it. The rooms were very nice with comfortable bedding, nice views of the city, and a very nice bathroom with a shower with both a rain shower head and a regular shower head. We were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend the Sofitel Wellington to anyone looking for a place to stay in Wellington.

Had a great stay here didn't really leave the hotel so don't know about dining around the hotel. Breakfast was fabulous lots to choose from they cooked great omelettes had good fruit selection and very attentive staff. Room layout was good comfortable bed nice amenities
