O Hotel é excelente, muito bem localizado e com facil acesso ao centro da cidade e centros comerciais. Só sinto falta de um fitness center proprio do Hotel, mas ele fica proximo a algumas opções. Café da manhã é um dos melhores que já vi, e a limpeza nos quartos me agradou muito.

I had a terrible experience in this hotel at the end of August. Someone(s) broke into my room for 2 consecutive days with my door confirmed locked. The hotel didn't treat me seriously, they couldn't provide any convincing explanation or compensation. I went there for a business trip and had booked this hotel for 10 nights. The break in incident happened in the early morning 5:30am after my first sleep. I heard someone tried to open my door, but because I had locked it, so the intruder shaked the handle a few times, and eventually it did open!!! I went down and reported to the reception directly and asked if there was any CCTV. The staff said she didn't know...had to wait for her colleague to come back to answer me in the evening....by then i was told that there was no CCTV in this hotel...and they admitted it was one of their staff who broke into my room!!! I requested an explanation, the front desk only said it would not happen again. I requested to meet the duty manager, she said the manager would talk to me tomorrow....this is how they treated this security issue and code of conduct "seriously". Totally unacceptable. I could only go back to my room for the 2nd night. But then at 7:15am in the next morning, there was someone broke into my room again!! With a loud door closing sound, which i even more confirmed then the first time. The intruder went out as well before showing his/her face. It was unbelievable!!! I reported to the front desk again but they seemed not believe in me. Said it was not their staff this time and it was impossible to unlock the door with other cards. Long story short, it took me a whole day again in order to talk to the duty manager. And i personally showed her how to unlock my door using her card. She was finally speechless and arranged a new room for me. She said would investigate But I still could not receive a solid explanation in the next day and really felt unsafe. I was not able to sleep well and was super alert to different sounds. The next day the GM finally met me, but then still no compensation or with any gesture of apology. Didn't feel i was treated seriously so I decided to change the hotel for personal safety. They still charged me the fee for the 3 days. This was my worst hotel experience ever. Had a lovely welcome from the staff. There was parking for our bikes in the underground carpark, with access to the hotel. Checkin was straightforward. Our room was lovely with a really good view. Very clean and comfortable. Nice hot shower. About a 10 minute walk into the old town. Plenty of cafes/bakery and supermarket to get pastries for breakfast. We would stay again and would recommend. Great location

We had booked two nights at the Mercure hotel in a Privilege room with City View. When we arrived to check-in, a rather unfriendly receptionist told us that we had been rebooked to a different hotel. She promised that the full booking will be honored and that we would receive the same category rooms in the other hotel. This was completely untrue. When we arrived in the other hotel, they had only been given a booking request for a standard room for one night only by the Mercure hotel. They also mentioned that the Mercure should have emailed us to confirm the downgrade - which they hadn’t. We were left to sort out the accommodation for the second night of our stay which was a bit messy and left us with a rather unpleasant start into our stay in Amersfoort. The Mercure hotel is not replying to our requests to explain why they downgraded us and only booked us for one night, nor have they gotten back to us about refunding the difference in room categories. Very unprofessional behaviour.

We stayed at this fabulous Hotel for 4 nights with our tour party of 36 from Great Rail Journeys. Check in was very efficient and husband and I were given a room on the 6th floor. Your room key card operates the lift and we liked this security feature. The ceilings in the Hotel are very high as are the doors but the lighting is very dim everywhere. Our room was great, large with twin beds, a refrigerator, safe and large wardrobe. The shower room was great too with walk in shower, large sink and countertop, toilet and hairdryer. The bonus was a switch for underfloor heating! The downside of the shower was that the soap dispenser was about 3feet away from the water so you had to keep stepping out of the water to get soap on your face cloth. The dispenser near the washbasin was also in an awkward place. Small niggles I know but niggles none the less. We had 4 very comfortable nights here with breakfast. Special mention must go to the serving staff and chef ( male) who could not do enough for you. The chef made me the most delicious pancakes on a couple of mornings. There was a good selection of continental meats and cheeses and lovely fresh crusty bread. Neither of us had anything hot from the large serving dishes as we preferred the fruits and yoghurts on offer. We would love to stay at this Hotel again.
