Novotel Мюнхен Арнульф Парк 4 звезды

I booked 2 rooms for a 3-night stay with my wife, my teenage son and my mom. We took a train from Frankfurt so arrived in Munich Central station. We travelled light and had been sitting a lot (plane and train rides), so decided to walk to the hotel. It's 25-min walk and not much to see so make sure it's a nice day if you plan to do this. Note after our stay, we took a taxi back (€13) since we were in a rush. There is tram stop in front of the hotel and S-Bahn station 5-min walk to the hotel. Hotel is modern, nicely decorated and very clean. Room is functional but I think a/c was either not working or not strong since temperature stayed the same even when we set it lower. Hotel location is in a business district so nothing from a sightseeing point of view. Few restaurants within 5-10 min walk but there is a grocery store within a 5-min walk. S-Banh train stop is Donnersbergerbrucke and is also a 5-min walk. Train ride is only about 10 mins to go to the station directly in historical Old Town (Marienplatz). There is also tram in front of the hotel but I can't comment since I never took it. Hotel breakfast is quite pricey but is excellent in terms of taste, quality and diversity. Big breakfast area as well. So if you plan to have a big brunch and avoid lunch altogether, it is worth it. Room is simple, modern and functional. We all appreciate the 2 complimentary bottles of water supplied in our room each day. Service was very good except for 1 person which I'll briefly discus below. Front desk processed our check-in efficiently, gave our room earlier and provided tips on the various options to get to the Marienplatz. When we found out that the safe was left locked by the previous guest, the service staff arrived within 5 mins to fix it. Breakfast staff was was also polite and helpful. The only person who gave a very bad service was the front office supervisor. After we checked-out, I found out that the hotel mistakenly overcharged us 2 extra breakfast days (5 breakfast days even if our stay was only for 3 nights). When I emailed to inform them of the error, the front desk supervisor (Jawad) told me that the amounts on the invoice were added correctly. I responded that the issue is not addition of amounts but the extra breakfasts charged. He responded by simply saying that we are charged based on the booking confirmation regardless of whether we ate breakfast or not. When I sent a copy of the booking confirmation which supported my position. he stopped responding to my emails - Very unprofessional. I finally reached out to the general manager. Then a front desk manager (Florina) looked into my case, acknowledged their error, apologized and refunded my overpayment. So, @Florina, I sincerely want to thank for your effort in rectifying the error. You have restored my faith in your hotel brand. I just registered to become an Accor member after my stay and thought of cancelling it after my initial response for the overcharge. I'm glad I didn't. I go to Europe a lot since I work for an airline company so thought this would be a good addition to my list of go to hotels.

Great hotel with an amazing European breakfast buffet. Very clean, great location, very close to many areas. The Trambahn is just 3 min away and you can easily go to Munich city center. They also gave a great restaurant with an awesome kids play area. We loved our stay.

we stayed here twice in short proximity (once for a week, then a night before our flight). very nice room. very friendly front desk--they comped the mini bar both visits! we very much enjoyed the breakfast. 5 min walk to the 16/17 tram which connects quickly/easily to the main train station as well as the top spots to see in old town or 10 min walk to S bahn stop which makes getting around the city very easy.

We stayed here for 3 nights -Friday 2nd June to Monday 5th June. 1. We were very warmly welcomed and given an early check in, which was very much appreciated. 2. Room for 3 people was attractive, spacious, comfortable and clean 3. We found the hotel excellently situated with regard to access to the city centre, there is a train station 7 minute walk away and a tram stop 3 minutes away (I'm a slow walker!) 4. Brekfast was tasty, plentiful and varied. 5. Comfortable and quiet relaxing public areas so one isn't stuck in the room all evening. 6. Staff were courteous, unobstrusive, helpful and just plain nice. 7. I would definately come back to this hotel again, I hope all the other Novotels are as nice.

This was the best hotel we stayed at on our European vacation. The rooms were modern and comfy. The bathroom was spacious- beds were soft and comfy as well. Although it is a bit far from the main area of Munich- I think the price and the rooms make up for it.
