I have been staying at the hotel twice a year for more than 20 years. The location is excellent in the center of the old city, 3 minutes walk from the Marianplatz and very close to the historical sites and to all the shops and to the market., the rooms are very clean and the staff is great. Breakfast is excellent.

Stayed here in 2 rooms for 2 nights to visit the Christmas markets. The hotel is a very short walk from Marienplatz station, and easily walkable from Hauptbahnhof station too. Very well-located. The rooms were basic but functional and seemed clean. However, the cleaners disturbed us on both mornings. First morning, they knocked loudly on both doors when we were still asleep at 8am. So the next night we put the Do Not Disturb sign on both doors to avoid this. The next morning, they ignored the signs and knocked again - one of our rooms had not been locked overnight and the cleaners came into the room while we were still in bed. Extremely unhappy with this - I complained to the front desk when we checked out - they apologised but said the cleaners were separate to the hotel(?!). Hopefully they have now been told what a Do Not Disturb sign means. Apart from that, the breakfast was fine - can get quite busy but plenty of food to choose from. Room was not that quiet but understandable as centrally located.

Great location, so close to Marienplatz and good shopping retailers. Very clean. Felt quite homely. Breakfast was wonderful, even for gluten free options. So close to the best gluten free bakery also!! Staff were helpful and accomodating. Free drinks in minibar was a lovely surprise. Loved our time here!

Super good location! Dun even need to take transport for the few days we stay! Near to all Christmas market ! All good resturants near by! Good breakfast! Direct train from airport! Main train station also near by! Tour pickup location all within 10 min

Great staff, they spoke English and were so helpful! We had a nice room and this hotel is very close to Marienplatz and the Ubahn. We enjoyed the hospitality and the room was very clean. We had the free fabulous breakfast to start each day with!!
