Terrible guest service. The woman at the front desk on a Saturday morning breaks away from helping me with an accessibility issue to answer the phone and then spend more than 5 minutes on the call with the other guest while I stand and wait. When I complain about that, she shrugs. When I say that I am a Gold member, she shrugs again and says: "Everybody is a gold member." So much for benefits. I say her poor service is making me reconsider a 17 night booking at a Mercure in Kyoto, Japan. She shrugs. I just cancelled that booking of 17 nights and will look for better. The shower stalls have serious issues with accessibility, it is a big step DOWN out of the shower onto the bathroom floor, no grab bars to help, no anti-slip mat. If you have knee troubles or other accessibility issues, don't stay here. The paint in the bathroom is peeling. The radiators are rusty. The lighting is poor. We were warned off the breakfast, which costs 22 euros a head, and went to the cafe beside the hotel, which was cheaper and better. The location was good for transport and the room was spacious. Those are the plus points. However, overall, poor value for money. Not likely to stay here again.

Отель расположен близко от Олимпийского парка, холма в нём, музея БМВ и дворца Нимфенбург - всё в пешей доступности. До центра пешком минут 40-50. Удобные кровати, прекрасные подушки (на выбор большая и маленькая) - спали мы как никогда. Тихо по ночам, никто не беспокоит. Приятные администраторы, готовые помочь. Отдельно опишу стоимость и варианты размещения в Мюнхене. Мы не бронировали отель сильно заранее - план поездки менялся. На букинге были заоблачные цены на оставшиеся средненькие отели. Аккор же предлагал семейную скидку на второй номер для детей (жили мы семьей из 4 человек в 2-ух двухместных номерах) - и итоговая стоимость получилась в 2 раза ниже самого дешевого варианта на букинге. Мы остались очень довольны и уровнем отеля, и обслуживанием, и ценой.

Large, clean rooms and very friendly staff! NOT walkable to city center, but very conveniently close to light rail train which we took everyday. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Only con is tiny shower and bathroom, otherwise perfect!

I'd like to share my bad experience with this hotel during summer. The air conditioner do not work properly and it is a problem they know about. I was in a top floor bedroom, with low ceiling and direct sun during the whole afternoon and beggining of the night. It was simply impossible to be in the room without air conditioner. After the first night without sleep, I askded the reception to get it fixed and they told me it is a problem that they must reset the machine many times a day and they usually forget. So, I had to "remember" them everytime the air conditioner stopped working by calling the reception. The second day I asked to change room (at least without the sun) or the hotel, they said it was impossible. They were fully booked. I asked for a solution, and they gave me a fan (attached photo). I asked to speak with the manager (it was a saturday) and I was told that there is no manager during the weekends. Totally unacceptable... and in high season. During summer, when it was over 33oC, I cannot understand how the hotel do not have a protocol that every hour somebody should check the central air conditioner. Just to highlight, the staff was really nice, but I felt like they couldn't do much and there was nobody in charge to solve problems. On monday, my check out day, I asked for a late check out and they gave it for free as a token to the "climate" problem. It is a gesture, but what I needed was the air conditioner to work well. I had 4 days of a bad experience.
