At best a three star establishment!

The Pullman Hyde Park advertises itself as a five star hotel. At best it is a three star establishment. The hotel is tired and in need of rejuvenation. It has spacious rooms and the pillows are the best I have experienced in a hotel. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help. The in house restaurant serves decent but not great food although their lamb ribs are to die for. Special mention to Paul the waiter for his attention. We had to complain about the pasta my daughter ordered and he immediately took it off the bill. When we were in the bar which was not open, a stranger approached us and asked us for money. He then said he would be happy with what was left of our bottle of wine. This stranger just walked straight in from outside as there was no security. This needs to be upgraded in this hotel. The car park is cramped and difficult to manouvre. Be aware!

I had stayed in Pullman Sydney for 3 nights with my wife and 2 year old daughter. The room was big and in a great location. On the day of check out, I realized that I might have dropped my headset in the room. Had called the front desk to check and dropped multiple emails but unfortunately did not receive a reply at all!

Great location . Not a luxury hotel.

The location is good as is the size of the room and it’s definitely cleaner than the Vibe. However, the bar was closed for our stay and the only place to eat or drink was Thirty6. As a vegetarian absolutely appalled by their menu . No main course apart from a below par with goats cheese . If you don’t like that offering , there are only a couple of side dishes that don’t contain meat . The canapés that come out late afternoon similarly all are meat based as is the children’s menu . Not all my family is vegetarian but the food is definitely substandard. Be aware that Thirty6 is very small and unless you have reserved a table you are unlikely to be accommodated . Bar used as an office venue in the day ! Not great when you are on holiday. Swimming pool is functional but not a place to relax around as limited seating and could do with refurbishment . If you are on business and just using this briefly then I’m sure you can ignore the flaws. It is definitely not 5 star or set up for tourists.

Disappointing I wish I'd read the reviews before booking Tired, dirty in places, poor service with occasional outstanding service , 5 star you are kidding 3 star more like, room cleaning sporadic and half hearted-took less than 3 minutes one day we were in the room

Had a wonderful experience at Pullman Hyde Park. It was an occasion birthday and the staff were absolutely fabulous - offered an early check-in, allowed a late check-out and bought up a beautiful cake to the room for my partner to celebrate his birthday. They really went out of their way to give us a great experience. The rooms was lovely though the couch wasn't particularly comfortable (I think it was built for aesthetics), though everything else was fabulous. We had a spa in the bathroom, the bed was really beautiful to sleep in and breakfast was tasty. I really can't speak highly enough of my experience and the professionalism of the staff.
