Good enought for a short holidays

I read many reviews about this hotel, and I was quite worried about the room size and cleanliness. My mom and I stayed here for three days in Sydney, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed—I was pleasantly surprised! I brought almost five suitcases, yet the room never felt small or cramped. The bed was comfortable, and we were able to rest well. The breakfast was great, offering a variety of options, and the coffee was freshly made by a barista. I’m not giving it five stars because the rooms could use a bit more maintenance. Our shower didn’t have a curtain, so the bathroom would get quite wet, and when we turned off the AC, it created a small puddle on the floor. Most of the staff were very helpful, though some had a bit of an attitude at times—but nothing too serious, LOL. If we visit Sydney again on a tight budget, we would definitely stay here. The hotel is in a very central location—just a 30-minute walk to the CBD and only 2 minutes from Kings Cross train station.

Terrible. It was so dirty. The rooms were unsanitary. Not worth the money at all!!!! I do not recommend this hotel. I was looking forward to this location but this hotel lacks good service and standard. I asked for my sheets to be changed and after servicing the room, the dirty sheets were still left on and they simply just made the bed. Bathroom was disgusting. Bed was hard and old.

this hotel is so close to the King Cross. i stayed here because this place is not so far from the Sydney Marathon finish line, and also very close to the station. the receptionist is so friendly. i came in the morning, and at first i think i still can not checked in because it is still 10.00 am, but luckily the room is available so i can get early check in without any extra fee. the room is small but clean and modern with very comfortable bed.

The rooms are incredibly small with no out of the way storage for luggage or bags. This makes walking around the bed impossible. Two rooms in our group had horrible smells and the others such bad road noise that sleeping was difficult. Breakfast was dismal with far too many groups and no seating. Ok on cleanliness but things are literally falling off the walls and held up by tape. One washing machine oj floor 5 for multiple floors, not even close to enough. Staff is very helpful and that’s the 3 stars.

The hotel was nicely located, clean with amenities better than expected Given what we're provided in the room, I would think it's better than we expect from a budget accommodation. The room was rather small and narrow which was probably why it was categorized as budget but the beds, beverages, cleanliness were all commendable The breakfast buffet included with the room was generous and the individually-prepared coffee was what you would find in a fancy place One bad interaction with the kitchen manager though on my last day was disappointing
