Very good location. near the central station. 15 minutes to the airport. good communication with metro and tram. walking distance to the Balvadere palace. Good breakfast and overall good family experience. Highly suggested

We chose the hotel for its location next to the train station and stayed only overnight. It does the job. You can leave your luggage early and go exploring. The room is compact and quite basic, standard Novotel fare. Breakfast was chaotic, but again convenient when you have train to catch and don’t want to venture out too far. Kids eat free with adults, so not a terrible value.

Strategically located just few minutes away from the Vienna main train station. Decent accommodation with spotless rooms , comfortable bed, nice shower. Breakfast is average, including the items and the service. The 19th floor spa and fitness is the highlight of my stay. Great view while working out and also when relaxing after the sauna. Just 8 minutes walking you can visit the Belvedere Palace with its beautiful gardens. If you look for a hotel next to the train station and not far from the city center is the ideal one.

Good location, but could be improved

Kind of a mixed review, I would have put it more a 3 1/2 star. So, to begin with a few things that could be better, it is unclear the difference between a family room for 1 child or a family room for 2 children. Novotel wouldn't tell me in advance in writing what the difference was, and said I needed to call them in Austria and they would help. I booked one for 2 children, at slightly higher rate, as it looked like it provided a double sofa bed. When I turned up, only a single sofa bed was set up. A quick chat to reception and it was altered, new sheets, new pillows and sorted within 10 mins. the double sofa bed had 2 separate mattresses which were different thicknesses which wasn't good, but my child said it was comfy enough. The air con didn't work well, it was heat or cold air, never balanced so night was a constant under duvet, then out until it went cold then back in. A fridge provided in the room is good, but a sticker saying the contents are free, and all they provide is 2 sparkling waters was more insulting than offering just a fridge to use. 27 euro for breakfast is excessive in my opinion, and I didn't pay it, so don't know how good it was. Positive, room was clean, staff very friendly, and when raised the issue about the bed, responded fast, couldn't ask for more. The location is also excellent and great public transport links. I probably would stay again, but only due to cleanliness and location

We will review our room descriptions to ensure we provide more accurate information in the future. Regarding the air conditioning, we understand the discomfort it caused. The system is currently set to heating mode for the season, and unfortunately, we are unable to adjust the cooling during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, especially when outdoor temperatures are still high. We hope this explains the issue, and we appreciate your understanding. As for the minibar, we would like to clarify that it is always included in our rooms, but the contents do vary depending on the room category. In standard rooms, we provide 2 bottles of mineral water, which are not refilled during your stay. In our Executive rooms, Junior Suites, and Suites, the minibar is fully stocked (water, soft drinks, beer, snacks, etc.) and replenished daily. We understand that you were expecting more variety, and we apologize for any disappointment this may have caused. Lastly, we also take note of your feedback regarding the breakfast price. We understand that value is an important factor when considering breakfast options, and we appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback. Well maintained property with functional facilities. Located to connect center and international spots easily. Breakfast fresh and delicious with various treats. Rooftop SPA was amazing in the evenings, Sadly there is no swimming pool, but the views have been unforgettable. Cheers to Sasha and Alex at the lobby bar, friendliest members of the entire team 🙋🏻‍♂️ definitely stay again if i revisit this wonderful city
