good hotel for a moderate price

Booked this hotel as it was the closest one to the bus station (~5 minutes walk). A somewhat shady street but not too bad (the hotel also has another exit that leads to the old town). Good studio room with a kitchenette. Interior view, no outside noise, good soundproofing. A very pleasant young lady at the front desk (but it's a bit odd that the front desk is only open at certain hours).

There was a problem with parking being disabled apparently you need to book it which I did not see duing the booking process. The director eventually came and fixed it but it was not the best of starts. The problem was sorted and we got the parking space

Very friendly personel and very good breakfast. Easy to use garage at a moderate rate. We found that the room had a very limited space. Only a desk for one person, I would expect at least 2 chairs and a table. We were very happy with the airconditioning, it was 31°Celsius in Poitiers.

No complaints !!

Booked the property because ibis Styles Centre was costlier for the days. Well it was worth it, cheaper and probably more to my liking. Nice comfortable bed and a kitchen with utensils if you want to cook yourself. Only complaint was the toilets are a bit taller, supposedly made for people over 7 feet tall. Next time I am in Poitiers, I am booking them again.

Staff are pleasant but the room was disappointing. The baby cot provided was old and the mattress was stained and grubby. The double bed was very small for two but sufficiently comfortable for one night. The pull out sofa bed was also fine for one night. The room was smaller than expected but was fine for a quick stay. There was a terrible smell in the corridor though and while it was not as strong in the room it lingered. You can walk quite easily from the hotel out a back gate to the town centre. Nice restaurant choice there. There are no parking spaces available in hotel car park so street parking is necessary. Our car was fine and our locked roof box was untouched. Breakfast choice was small but sufficient but coffee was disgusting. Would only recommend for pit stop stay.
