We had a joint 70th Birthday Celebration here with all our family and friends 65 in total in the Kinnoull Suite. Chloe and her team organised and made everything right for us. Staff are so friendly and nothing is any bother. Some of our guests stayed over , very comfortable rooms and the breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this Hotel .

Great location to visit Perth city centre, however the rooms were a bit dated but clean enough to stay in. Comfortable bed with spotlessly clean bedding and towels. Bathroom could do with being refurbished so hopefully this will be carried out at some point soon. The best thing about the hotel were the extremely helpful and cheerful staff. We were given a lovely welcome at reception and a cheery smile every time we passed there. The breakfast staff were every bit as pleasant by giving great service that complemented the super breakfast provided by the hotel. Great selection of food and drinks! Enjoyed the deliciously tasting fresh fruit, good quality cooked breakfast and fresh pastries and also noticed there were a variety of other food choices which made this one of the best breakfasts we have been offered in a hotel. The staff were proud to serve this and provided good banter when we complimented them on their great breakfast. I would return to this hotel in the future and would really appreciate it if they have plans in place to modernise the en suite facilities.

hotel was lovely rooms need up grade staff were very good any problem they sorted it within minutes food was terrible we go on lots of coach trips a year but this was the worst lots of peaple went to the chip shop around the corner and took food to there bedroom the staff must of seen them we complained about the food but what can the staff do nothing its out of there hands

The reception area is lovely and quirky, amazing to see the water running beneath... Regarding our room small and dated...,we were with just go holidays and all of us in the group were not so pleased with the evening meals...cold,hard undercooked broccoli, pasta with almost no sauce...the guy next to me ordered meat pie....and there wasn't any meat just the top pastry with gravy under...on the Wednesday evening waited over 2 hours for the food to arrive...my husband asked for a second roll only to be told if the other table don't turn up he may have there's.....oh dear..

Baptism in the kinnoull suite

We held our grandsons baptism tea at the kinnoull suite in the mercure in Perth on August 24 th this year . The whole experience from beginning to end was amazing and very special. Dee our events coordinator was kind and efficient and kept us informed every single episode of the way from pre booking to checking the hotel suitability untill after the actual day and checking everything went well and it was a pleasure deals my with her . It helped that her knowledge of the hotel was exemplary. Chloe the event coordinator we dealt with at the hotel was extremely knowledgeable and nothing was too much to ask for . The buffet was hot and delicious and each the big I asked for was executed to perfection . The hotel was clean and the bar staff were friendly and again couldn’t do enough for us . We had 80+ people and they coped very well with everyone including 15 children . I would highly recommend to people looking to have future parties or events here . The kinnoull suite itself is beautiful , dramatic and historic .
