Hosted our daughter’s birthday party at The Mercure, Swansea on Saturday. What a fabulous time was had by all! The function room was lovely, the buffet was so good (and plentiful), and DJ Darren was superb - the dance floor was full all night long. He contacted us beforehand to discuss music and he was an absolute pleasure to work with on the night too. From the time of my initial enquiry with Julia to my calls with Rachel, Kelly at the bar and even the gentleman that helped at the end of the evening everything, and everyone were superb. Helpful and pleasant to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. Rachel in particular was excellent at making suggestions on room layout, buffet etc. she was a star! I would 100% host an event at The Mercure again, our event could not have gone any better. We are absolutely delighted with how the party went, memories that we will remember forever. The members of staff we dealt with are all a credit to the organisation. Well done guys, and thank you!

De locatie was perfect gelegen en gratis parking gelegenheid was idiaal. Het personeel was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De kamers waren proper, en het ontbijtbuffet was heel nerjed verzorgd. Super leuke bediening aan de avond bar.

Stayed for one night for work. Checking was efficient and the Welsh cake was a very nice touch. Food was good and service efficient. Good buffet breakfast. Was good for a one night business stay.

I stayed here for one night in December 2025. It was during darkness, ie arrived early evening, out early the next morning. I did not have breakfast at the hotel, but the dinner menu was varied and the service in the restaurant was good. The room was as one would expect and had very good lighting. What I didn't like about it was the fact that the door from the corridor opened up straight into the room. In most cases when you enter a hotel room there is a short passage way as the bathroom or cupboard is to one side as you enter and you walk a couple of steps into the sleeping area. In this case, there was no passage and the door opened directly into the sleeping area. That gave a feeling of inadequate privacy, and also some noise from the hallway could be heard. The hotel had plenty of carparking and was easy to find.

Bonjour, Malgré l'enregistrement de notre véhicule de location par la réception de l'hôtel MERCURE SWANSEA quelle ne fut pas notre surprise de recevoir via EUROPCAR une facture-amende de 40 Livres pour 2 nuits..... Pas de réponses à nos emails de la Direction de l'hôtel avant notre plainte auprés du Service Client ACCOR. Pas de retour de la Direction du Groupe à notre courrier recommandé...Lamentable

Thank you for your kind review. You didn't register your car to stay in the car park. The car park is not owned by the hotel, but we have an agreement that allows our customers to park for free as long as they register their vehicles. This point is covered by multiple signs, both external and internal, all clearly stating that we cannot intervene in parking disputes, and we therefore need all guests to register their vehicles. You failed to this, and got a fine. We couldn't do anything about that as our contract with the car park owner does not allow us to. Ian
