The staff are lovely and always greet customers. The rooms are comfortable, the atmosphere is good, the swimming pool is beautiful, the dinner is delicious, the breakfast has many choices, grilled pork, sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves is delicious.

Excellent resort but location is quite remote

We spent 7 nights in this hotel and initially we were a bit depressed when we realized how remote the location is. After all, we realized it was rather a blessing than disadvantage. Nevertheless, city vibe lovers should go somewhere else :-). For us the silence and friendliness of the Thai countryside made our holidays just perfect. This spacious resort with a lot of green areas was built in an old fort or barracks, which give it additional charm. All staff were very kind and helpful, breakfasts were good and the infinity pool offered spectacular views to the area. We took the half-board option which allows for flexibility between the lunch and the a la carte 4-course-dinner. We found it the right choice at a very good price. Generally, food and beverages were not hugely overpriced as for such remote location and the category of the hotel (3-4 euro for cappuccino, 3 euro for the coke, 7-8 euro for a drink). Our room was spacious, with terrace and the excellent cleaning service + a lot of bottled drinking water delivered daily. Comfort pur! For guests with disabilities, there is electric car service available to bring you everywhere in the resort. To get to the city, you may use free shuttle service of the hotel available three times daily. However, in our opinion the departure/arrival times and the pick up points in the city were not very convenient so that we used it only once. I think that the early afternoon option should be delayed by 1 hour to allow for more time at the swimming pool and reduce 6-hours stay in Chiang Mai when most of the shops are still closed. Otherwise, the taxis are quite expensive (25 euro one way) because the drivers cannot find the clients for the ride back in the area. There is a super market and few bars in the village. Their opening hours are not extremely regular :-) but at least one of them is always open during the day. There is also excellent massage service (a kind of cooperative led by local women) 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. We have been using this service for few times and were very happy about the price and the quality so no need to use the overpriced hotel’s spa.

This hotel was in a beautiful setting up in the hills on the outskirts of a Chiang Mai. We had a Scenery Pavilion room which was amazing. A huge outdoor space with a large jacuzzi. Indoor space was excellent too with plenty of wardrobes, a huge comfortable bed, a large bathroom with twin sinks, along with a shower and bath. The views were lovely and it was very quiet. I recommend the guided morning walk up to the ‘White Castle’ . Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

ห้องพักดี บริการของพนักงานดี โดยเฉพาะพนักงานระเบียงชา บริการดีมาก หลังจาก check out มีคะแนนเข้ามาแค่ 3 คะแนน จึงโทรไป พนักงานส่งเรื่องแก้ไข ได้คะแนนห้องพักครบถ้วน แค่คะแนนที่ได้จากการทานอาหารไม่เข้ามา รวมถึงใบ e-tax ที่จะเอาไปลดภาษี ตอน check out พนักงานแจ้งว่าจะส่งเมลมาให้ ผ่านมาครึ่งเดือนกว่าแล้วยังไม่ได้ โทรไปตามมาแล้ว แจ้งว่าจะโทรกลับมา เรื่องยังเงียบ 08… สุกัญญา ค่ะ โดยรวมชอบทุกอย่างนะคะ ยกเว้นระบบคะแนนหลังบ้านที่ค่อนข้างแย่เลยค่ะ
