Very basic- like a hostel. Adjacent to a very busy road/ bus station. Soulless place. We didn’t eat or drink there - short walk to Leiden centre which is lovely. I am sure there are nicer places for the money. Rooms were tiny and felt shabby. I wouldn’t go again.

Distinctly average rooms, expensive, check-in systems off-line on arrival (staff were apologetic and very considerate, a credit to the hotel). Both bathrooms were a bit shabby, my soap dispenser didn’t dispense, beds were fine and clean. Just very average or below, poor value

Location and comfort. Right in front of Leiden train station, three supermarkets next door, and in walking distance of the centre, and the university, of course. Breakfast buffet menu is varied and excellent. Housekeeping service was very kind to leave necessary items at the door. Reception prints your boarding pass when emailed.

The hotel staff in the reception are very helpful especially Ashraf who was very friendly. He helped us a lot in all our inquiries. The location is extremely perfect just facing the bus and train station. And ten minutes walk to the city town. Rooms are a little bit small but very very clean. I suggest it as a budget hotel with many facilities. The breakfast was yummy. Although that it was the same everyday yet it was very satisfying. Cold water is served in the reception. And it has a very close super market just beside the entrance where you can by all your needs easily. I do recommend this hotel Thanks 🙏

Kind and helpful service from reception. Excellent location: right across from the Centraal train station and an easy walk to the old town and main squares. Although we requested a back room (they have partial views of Molen de Valk windmill), it turns out that the windows are truly soundproof and this Hotel has one of the quietest air conditioners we’ve experienced so no problem being in a front room if you like to watch trains and cyclists come and go, without the noise factor (close the window)! Rooms were simple, clean and functional with emphasis on a big washroom with roomy walk-in shower — excellent water pressure and hot water. If you don’t want to spend big bucks on style and pay for a basic room, come here. The buffet breakfast is actually very good with lots of options (bacon, eggs, waffles, granola, deli meats and cheeses, breads, etc but it will cost you at least 17€. It also has a pretty reception and breakfast area. Excellent free wifi. I didn’t like the foam-topped mattresses and the place lacked recycling bins which was a surprise, considering their posters posted on each floor advocating conscientious, “greener” behaviours. Still recommend—-there are a couple of grocery stores right beside it so very convenient. And super close to the Volkenkunde (ethnology) Museum.
