Somewhat Disappointing Stay

We booked two executive rooms at the hotel, both non-smoking. 1. Non-Smoking Room Issues When we arrived, we were told that they were out of non-smoking rooms. They gave us a room on the smoking floor, and they promised to 'give ozone treatment' the room to minimize the smoking odor. We discovered that the so called 'ozone treatment' was simply spraying the room with deodorizer. That only worked for a short time before the odor returned. We ended up asking the hotel staff to leave a can of the deodorizer in the room so we can spray the room ourselves. We tried to make the best with the situation: spraying the room periodically, keeping the AC on to prevent smoke odor from outside to seep into the room. And yet smoking odor returned. I woke up every morning with clogged nose and watery eyes from the polluted air. 2. Mini Bar Not Restocked And then we found out that the free mini bar in the room was not restocked. We know this because the next day we came down to the other room and the mini bar was restocked with snacks and drinks. 3. Elevators not working They have four elevators, two to serve the lower floors and to the higher floors. And each of the higher floor elevators took turn to be out of order during our stay. It was a long weekend, the hotel was almost in full occupancy. You can imagine the crowd at the elevators. The Silver Lining Hotel staff tried their best to handle our complaints. They were always courteous and friendly in dealing with guests. I appreciate the effort that the management put in recruiting and training the staff.

We stayed at this hotel during our trip to my hometown, Bandung. The hotel is conveniently located within the Trans Studio Mall and theme park area, making it a strategic choice for easy access to dining options and other necessities. It's also fairly close to the city center. The room was of medium size and equipped with basic amenities. However, the quality of the body soap and shampoo was disappointing, so we ended up purchasing our own. We didn't opt for the hotel's breakfast, as there are plenty of food options in the surrounding area. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and the room rates were quite affordable. Be prepared for crowds during the weekend.
