I booked two rooms through Accor web for my families, requesting higher floors. Instead, they gave the rooms on the 2nd floor. The wifi was not easily connected, so my families ended up using their mobile data to connect to internet. On the booking receipt, it is STATED that the rooms were already paid (by my credit card) and no amount of money should be paid in the hotel. Surprisingly, my family was asked to pay when checking in, saying that the credit card was only for booking guarantee. In that case, they (on the receipt from the web) should not have STATED otherwise! It is really embarrassing and not smooth to book this hotel through Accor web. This experience is really disappointing.
It's Good, but Not the Best

This was my second time staying at this hotel. My first experience (a few years ago) was bad; as I was charged twice by the FO. For my second experience, I found the check-in/check-out process were quick & efficient, the room was very basic - even there is no chiller in the room, to keep my drinks cold. The Internet connection was lousy. There were times when I found it very difficult just to access Google. But, what makes me really disappointed was the fact that the hotel staff were very ignorant to the implementation of health protocol & safety standard imposed by the government. When I spent 30 mins in the lobby, there were MANY PEOPLE - some guests, and even some hotel staff - walk on by around the lobby without wearing face masks. Those guests talked to the receptionists without wearing masks and the staff didn't say anything about it. Well, no wonder the receptionist didn't say anything to the guests, as some other staff didn't wear face mask as well while they were in the lobby. Is this the standards held by Ibis - or Accor Groups - in their hotels? Ignoring the health protocols imposed by the government - and ignoring the safety and the wellbeing of the guests?

Air condiotiner problem not cool and little warm perhaps temp 24 celcius or above and towels dirty looked grey, not for body mightby only for floor , I thought never happen during we stayed in accor group hotel network for years

all Service is good Rooms, Restaurant, location and there is massage spa (terapis by. Mia) is so really good, I'm enjoying my bussiness trip and hope can trip and back again with Ibis Surabaya... Thanks

This hotel is good in Location,building ,and lay out But there is note for the taste of the food and the interior for the room ( the colour of the bathroom ) Variation of the food is standard for 3 star hotel Need to improve with the taste
