几十年的全球各地旅行，第一次遇见睡觉竟然会被什么臭虫全身被咬破了好几个地方，到今天被咬的地方又疼又痒，简直无法忍受，没有想到Novotel星级连锁酒店会这么脏，更令人气愤的是Kayla Palelei, Guest Services Manager的态度，只是说她去查一下，对我受的伤害好像可以忽略，她的责任是去找虫子，找不到臭虫就跟她没有关系了，简直不可理喻，这种臭虫能找到吗？就连最基本的生活常识都没有，更没有客户意识，NOVOTEL竟然会让这样的人当客户经理说明NOVOTEL的高层，甚至老板们都没有很好的客户服务意识。在我有时间时我会向奥克兰当地政府卫生许可部门及消费者维权部门提出complaint，不能让这样的hotel继续去害人。

Excellent for a sleep after longhaul arrival

Very good hotel if arriving longhaul and needing sleep. Its a big place with big rooms and even though right at the airport, its really quiet. Clean and comfy, all you'd need.

Stayed better for less

Good bed and handy location to airport, however we encountered several flaws. Hotel room was small and lacked space for multiple suitcases. Couch was stained with white patches which made us avoid using it to put anything on. There was a vomit like smell somewhere in the room - we avoided investigating too much and the bathroom floors were greasy/slippery. There is poor lighting in the room and a constant white noise. Frosted glass between bed and shower is not ideal, and would not be something I would usually select as I enjoy the peace and privacy of a shower, particularly on holiday when you are often together with a travel companion. Shower pressure was low, I avoided washing my hair as it would have taken too long. The TV was not mounted straight which I found frustrating to look at and the phone and lamp cables a mess in the corner. We arrived on a late flight with an early departure and had we been staying more than a few hours, we would have requested a refund and changed hotels.

On the positive side the hotel is so close to the terminal - a matter of just over the road, and the rooms are comfortable enough. However after waiting a while for a dinner table we eventually got seated. The area we were seated in was near the entrance to the restaurant, this was open to the lobby which had a wide open door through which a cold gale blew. It was freezing. Ordered market fish of the day which I was told was snapper. It came after another long wait with apologies but it was some other fish (I didn’t catch the name) and was I ok with it. Being hungry I accepted this. Might have been nice for them to check with me sooner! Complaint raised about dinner experience. Price of my beer knocked off the bill. Rooms are quite well appointed but what is the glass wall between shower room and bedroom all about? From the bedroom the frosted glass screen can be slid back to reveal plain glass. Weird!

Good hotel right at the airport

Used the hotel for a night before travelling back to the UK. The room was a decent size and was well appointed. It was clean and the shower was good. The restaurant was lovely as well. Excellent location right next to the airport.
