All the previous friendly and helpful staff have been replaced by a new set of corporate bots who have no empathy and think it’s ok to call long standing loyal customers liars and thieves. Rude condescending, barely at work, manager who will not take responsibility for anything in the hotel and would prefer to lose custom over accepting that their system has failed in house. Been staying here for the last 15 years whenever we’ve travelled to London, never again. It gets one star for the fact that the room was ok, despite a broken lamp making it even darker than normal and the breakfast was fine.

Everyone was friendly, very welcoming and warm. The rooms were clean and practical with what we needed. You can’t get up to the rooms unless you’re a guest and have a key to call the lift, so we thought this was a great security point. I would say maybe reboot the tv channels as there isn’t a lot of options especially no GBNews. The breakfast is just continental which me and one child loved but my husband and other child would have preferred something more fried. All in all we thought it was good. Definitely recommend

The hotel is in a good location and the room was clean. We asked the staff to refrigerate some chocolates for us and, although we'd been assured by e-mail beforehand that it would be no problem, they did it only very reluctantly and then wouldn't let us take them out and return them. A small thing to be sure, but annoying. The reception area is unconventional but was fine.

Love the theatre theme of this hotel, in particular the wizard of oz. Very friendly staff. Room was small but lovely and everything you’d need. Very clean. Breakfast was continental but such a good choice of pastries, fruit, breads, cheese, meats etc. Good location being near London Bridge station. We had a view of the Shard from our room. Overall very good value with breakfast included. Would thoroughly recommend.
