We had to have an ‘off gas’ day from diving before flying home, and the hotel was close to the airport and had a nice pool and sun loungers. To be honest, we got what we went for. We had read about the excellent evening buffet and were disappointed that it wasn’t available. The a la carte was nice food. Breakfast was odd. The food was all in silver domes, the sort with the little oil burners underneath to keep the food warm. But none of the burners were lit and so even at 8am the food was all cold. We thought there might have been a microwave or something similar (I’ve seen that in hotel buffets before) but no, it was just being served cold. They heated some mee goreng up for us, but we didn’t have anything else. Some of the ‘western’ choices (their sign, not mine) were also strange for breakfast - cauliflower cheese, eggplant parmigiana… I’d have expected to see those at dinner. And warm! Overall, we needed a pool to lie by and we got a nice one.

This hotel used to be one of Manado's best hotels I visited many years ago. This last visit was quite disappointing. First room AC was not functioning. The staff was kind enough to change the room. Bearing a good brand name, I am hoping they can upgrade the rooms to be more update with the time and wish them to become a must stay hotel again.

I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Manado! The hotel offers breathtaking views, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the city. I also had the chance to try the spa, and it was a very relaxing experience. The treatments were soothing, and the staff was professional and welcoming. However, I do wish the spa could be a bit more luxurious to elevate the experience even further. A few upgrades in ambiance and facilities would make it truly exceptional. Overall, Novotel Manado is a great choice for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The service was excellent, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would love to return and would definitely recommend it to others!
