Unretrieved items in a locked room safe

I stayed overnight 7 January before my flight home, after a few weeks working away. The hotel was comfortable, clean-ish , i checked under the bed on departure, and the metal frame was covered in thick dust. The staff were a mix of very friendly and helpful, to bordering on being rude. The issue was after i checked out on the 8th, took my flight home, i realised that i was missing my second phone and 2 external hard drives, with my lifes history on them. I presumed i had left them at work, and asked my colleague to look for them in the office. I realise 4 days later that in fact i had locked them in the room safe at the hotel and completely forgot about them when i checked out of the hotel. When i called the hotel reception 4 days after check out, i gave them details over the phone ( not possible to email them) , only to be told both times that since checking out, the room had been allocated 4 times, and they could not have access to the room to check the safe contents. How did they get access to the room after each consecutive customer change to change the bedding, clean the room etc? The safe had my 4 figure pin, so the only people that could open it would be hotel security, or housekeeping. I have had no response from the hotel subsequently, so i presume that the safe has been opened, and for some reason, nothing as been found in the safe. There is no method of complaining to the hotel in writing direct, so i have posted this on trip adviser.

We enjoyed the restaurant immensely! Camillo welcomed us, sat us and offered us an apéritif, Kraken Rum, on the house. Delicious. Our server spoke English and was perfect. Steak and frites for myself and a chicken dish my wife loved. I had a delicious cab franc and my wife had a Bordeaux. Perfectly done and enjoyable. Leaving Camillo offered us a digestive of pastis with a cucumber of simple sugar diluted with sparkling water! Perfect night cap. We will sleep well tonight before flying off to Corsica in the morning!

The hotel rooms are old and dated the hotel is in A very bad neighborhood trash everywhere the staff where extremely kind and helpful that is a plus there are flys everywhere

Mixed review, I'm afraid. Nice hotel, great location for Orly, friendly staff, nice quiet room ... but the air conditioning didn't work, making for a muggy night, and the USB outlets on one side of the bed didn't work, although they did on the other side. If I were traveling out of Orly on an early flight, I'd definitely stay there again, but I'd make sure the AC worked before settling in.

Poor quality sleep.

With an early departure, I chose to stay overnight at Novotel Orly. The location is practical - just over five minutes’ walk to Terminal 4, and around fifteen from the Orly Airport metro station. Check-in was indifferent, with no acknowledgement of Accor All Gold status. Despite clearly available rooms on the Accor app, no upgrade was offered. The room itself was compact, furnished with a double bed, small couch, and a modest shower room. Dining options are limited - particularly for those with dietary requirements - with the only restaurant open for just a few hours from 7:30pm. Vegetarian choices were minimal. The main issue, however, was sleep quality. Though the outside temperature wasn’t particularly high (22°C at peak), the room remained uncomfortably warm overnight - even with the AC set to its lowest. The foam mattress offered little support, and the ridges beneath the thin sheets were distinctly noticeable. Checkout was brief, with no inquiry about the stay.
