The worst hotel experience we ever had

I stayed at the Ibis Budget Orly Rungis with my family, and neither of our rooms had functioning air conditioning. No one was available to help us with this situation, nor was there even a phone number we could contact about it at this time (22h). There was only the security person, who told us he couldn't do anything and recommended us to open the windows. This was a distressing situation because the temperature was high that night, and our apartments were on the ground floor, facing the parking. Thus, the noise and light from the parking bothered us, and we couldn't relax because we didn't know if it was safe to sleep with our windows open facing the parking (and the street). To make matters worse, we were traveling with two senior people. Although we tried to reach Ibis Budget through their website contact information and social media, no one replied. This is an unfortunate experience as we are long-term customers and have stayed at Ibis and Ibis Budget hotels in different places and have never experienced anything like this before. We are very disappointed and, thus, would not recommend it to anyone else.

The machine at the entrance works 1 time out of 10. No one at the reception, if the security staff wasn’t here we wouldn’t have known that the reception opens at 5pm. The quality of the hotel was not good and very different from the pictures displayed on the website.

First of all, our room wasn't ready when we arrived. Rooms are incredibly small, shower and sink are in the room, there is no bathroom actually... Breakfast is awful. Few buns, cereals and coffee. No meat at all, you can't find anything nutritionally good. The only good thing is that stuff is very polite.

Average location.. average room.. average bath.. clean but old furniture.. worse breakfast.. otherwise staff is really kind and helpful.. maybe there is a managing problem.. is it ibis budget?! I don’t think so..

You get what you pay for and if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable overnight stay near the airport then you can’t really fault this hotel. Certainly no bells and whistles attached to the hotel, but a bed for an overnight stay to catch a very early flight then you can’t really go wrong. Shuttle bus is from the hotel next door and it is not 24 hours, that’s the only downfall
