I have stayed at other Ibis properties in Kuala Lumpur, Delhi and Jaipur. Compared to the other Ibis properties, this one is particularly dated. Lobby and pool are all good but rooms and washrooms need a overhaul. Staff are friendly, location very close to the famous train station of Hua Hin.

We stayed with our family for Songkran holiday and also my birthday, a total of 7 nights. The hotel staff was friendly. However at check in they didn't recognize that I'm an Accor member. When I asked about the welcome drink they said "we don't have it". When I informed them about my membership, the staff apologized and told me it didn't show in her system that I have silver status. So I think to myself, what's the point of doing the check-in before through the app? A further disappointment was, that the menu at the restaurant doesn't offer any vegan food. It was hard to believe. Only french fries are vegan, which are not very healthy. Accor having committed to their "Planet 21" project, and having sustainable food options, however at the restaurant, the menu didn't include any plant-based food. For the pizza it would be great to have vegan cheese options, but they don't have it. For myself eating vegan, it was difficult to be there for 7 days, so we had to go outside to eat. The chef prepared a breakfast for me almost every day, which was very nice, however it lacked protein (tofu, beans, peas, or similar). I hope ibis will serve more healthy and sustainable food option that go along the vision of Accor. We had the family room which was very nice. The maids were very friendly and took good care of our room and our family. The pool at the hotel is also very nice. Overall the experience was nice, but there is room for improvement at the reception staff (recognize membership) and the menu at the restaurant as well at breakfast. Thank you

Arrived at the hotel and was greeted by a very happy and pleasant security guard.......then things went from bad to worse!!! Reception staff unpleasant and unprofessional on booking in, we were a large party of 8 rooms for the first night and 6 rooms for our second night, we were all separated on different floors and everyone commented about how small the rooms were and looked dated, the carpets on every floor looked stained and dirty, but the rooms were clean to be fair! The restaurant was closed at night time on both nights but open for the dreadful breakfast which doesn't cater at all for European guests! Drinks at the bar were extremely expensive and served by miserable uninterested staff! The pool is way too small and again looks dated!! Each room has only 2 pillows which are flat, so I went to reception and asked for 2 more.....I was told I could have one for free but would have to pay 50 baht for the other one!!!! I had a hotel myself for 32 years and have visited hundreds of others.... Never have I had to pay for a pillow.....it's not the money but the principal, I refused to pay on checkout!! I have stayed at numerous ibis hotels and yes I know they are budget but this is ridiculous especially after our party has spent over 20,000baht on our stay! The security guard needs to teach the other lazy disinterested staff to smile 😁
