We stayed at this hotel for just a night recently. Despite giving a feeling of being business-like, the hotel is actually great even for a couple like us who were on a short vacation. It is beautifully landscaped with a large courtyard with tall windows on all sides, making it feel resorty. We chose a room at the Executive floor which was extremely convenient, especially since our stay was so short. Right from checking-in to checking-out, the high tea and the breakfast (fairly elaborate spread) was all enjoyed across our room at the lounge, saving us a lot of time. The only couple of things one needs to bear in mind if one stays here is that the nearest BTS (Victory Monument) is about a 12 minute walk from the hotel, but once you are on the train, you are only 3 stops away from Siam Paragon on Sukhumvit. The other point is that when requesting the Concierge for a taxi, one must allow at least 10 minutes for one to arrive. Not as fast as one would usually get at other places. Throughout the stay, the staff were extremely warm and we were looked after quite well, and I must say that its a great option in case one is looking to stay a little away from the Sukhumvit, but not far from it.

Good facility not good service

This hotel has a good facility, especially swimming pool, very recommend it. I also got a good impression at the concierge. but not sure is it good service at the executive lounge. I felt most of the staff were kind and tried to solve problems and give a service. but one of the staff, don't remember her name exactly name starts M, was not communicating with others. I had to move rooms three times, going back and forth between the lounge and the concierge each time and couldn't check in at the lounge even I booked the executive room. I hope to visit to Pullman Bangkok Kingpower again but if I book the hotels in Bangkok, I think I'll hesitate to book

Disappointing customer service.

Needs improvement/did not meet expectations. We have stayed around 6 times at the Pullman Kingpower over the years. Sadly the consistency and ease of booking alongside customer service, and looking after repeat patrons seems to have become non existent. I enquired earlier this year for a rate and it was reasonable and competitive with online booking options. Enquired again a few months later and the price for the same room had gone up by 2000 baht. Multiple emails back and forth trying to understand why the difference in price, and given it was much cheaper online and I was getting no where. I do not understand why if you have repeatedly stayed and recommended a hotel there should not be a level of consideration and customer care. Disappointing and systems at reservations end need addressing and refining. Hotel does not have location in its favour so customer service should be top notch especially in such a competitive hotel market.

Comfortable hotel stay

The check-in and check-out was smooth. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. Breakfast spread was good - there was the usual eggs, bacon, sausages, cereals, bread, as well as noodles and sushi. The not so good was a very small gym and non-air conditioned corridors. The only mall nearby is the King Power mall which only has the high end designer shops at duty free prices if you show a foreign passport. Perhaps not the best choice if you want to go shopping!

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a business meeting which was taking place at this hotel. The room itself was satisfactory and spacious enough. I was in the garden wing and the room was a far distance from the lift, but the corridor was really hot! Staff at the hotel were quick to respond to requests, which was good. I had the buffet breakfast and lunch on both days. The buffet was spread out over a large area but to my disappointment, there wasn't anything memorable, not so many choices and not enough Thai food! The hotel itself is a little out of the way from the main shopping belt of Siam Paragon and Ratchaprasong and with Bangkok traffic, you will need to take the BTS. The BTS station is within walking distance but the weather was hot and made the walk seem longer in distance. The only shopping nearby is the King Power mall which has high end shops and famous Thai snacks at level 3. If you arrive late at night, there is a restaurant that stays open till late behind the hotel, next to the Century mall. Also, the gym is far too small for such a large hotel, only 2 of each equipment and one weights machine.
