Room size was ok, free baby bed provided. All in all it all was ok and satisfying. Service was helpful, also provided a baby bathtub. Airport pick up service was good, but selected car was not big enough, almost couldn't fit all of our luggage inside the car. Breakfast was an international continental breakfast. Pool on the rooftop was almost empty in the evening hours. Hotel is connected with Ibis Hotel, same breakfast area on the 8th floor. You first take the elevator to the 9th floor reception before you change to another elevator for the rooms. Very close located to MBK center and BTS Skytrain.

It is indeed short but wonderful stay! Stay are accomodating and kind! Highly recommended hotel specially if you are visiting bangkok for shopping! Malls are very accessible, just minutes away by walk and in front of the property is the train station!! Noise? Nah! Cannot even hear the sound outside! Kudos to winsorat from the front desk who is beyond helpful with my check in and out, and to the bar lounge attendant who is attendtive with my orders and making sure all are set..Highly recommended hotel!

The last time I stayed at Mercure Bangkok Siam was before the pandemic, but now, whenever I pass through Bangkok and have a free evening, I make it a point to stop by. Sky Terrace Bar, where Mr. Rang works, is rarely crowded. Most guests prefer sitting on the terrace, while I usually have my lunch or dinner indoors at the counter. Mr. Rang is a true professional—polite, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He seems to read my mind whenever I have trouble deciding. If you're unsure what to order, just ask him—you won’t be disappointed. I also recently met his assistant, Miss Mook. A young and beautiful Thai woman, she brings even more warmth to the bar’s atmosphere. Attentive and always smiling, she effortlessly makes you feel welcome. The food here is excellent, with generous portions. I always leave feeling full and satisfied after visiting this hotel. Over the past two years, I’ve visited this bar countless times, and I hope it becomes a lasting tradition. After all, it’s not just the walls or decor that make a place special—it’s the people. Frontline staff like Mr. Rang and Miss Mook create the kind of experience that keeps you coming back.

Disappointing for a Mercure hotel, but overall fine. Good: - Location is convenient, right next to a skytrain station and MBK Center, with a 7-11 inside the hotel building. - Breakfast (from 6) has plenty of options at a reasonable quality. - Room is comfortable with a great view out of the large window. - Shower is excellent - suitable for tall people and can go very hot and very cold. - Nearby running tracks and a quiet 15-minute walking circuit around the stadiums are handy before the gym opens at 7. - Gym is ok: 2 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 2 bikes, 2 benches, dumbbells up to 20kg, and great views. Not so good: - Cleanliness needs work - the entire hotel feels run down and not quite maintained, and although everyone knows hotels don’t wash the cups and glasses in rooms properly, this was the worst I’ve seen. - Service is generally lacking; I waited for several minutes at the bar one afternoon and no one ever came, and check in was messy with the staff member cutting me off to answer phones, and forgetting procedures. - The elevator system is inconvenient - you have to take a slow elevator to the 9th floor, walk across the building, then use another slow elevator to get to your room. - Wifi is really unreliable; I had to keep switching to my eSIM. - The building overall feels dated and not up to the usual standards of big-name hotels (scuff marks, chipped paint, understaffed/poorly trained, etc.). - Pillows are too soft and collapse completely flat - I needed three to get any support. - TV is very limited for English speakers, which would be fine if the wifi was good enough for Netflix. I wouldn’t rule out staying here again, but it definitely won’t be my first choice.
