Rip off merchants

These guys are rip off merchants. Charged us twice - nearly $10k AUD - that has now been locked up for more than a week. Stay away. Terrible customer service and really don’t care about their clientele. Don’t let them take a security bond on your card - they’ll shaft you! Happy New Year!

Smelly Tourist Trap! I will start with the basic expectations when paying over $1k for a one night stay.

I knew the rooms were simple based on reviews and mainly wanted the spectacular view they offer however, we didn’t count on arriving at our top floor suite and smelling the overwhelming sewer smell. Room looked clean but balcony door was cracked open on a cold day highly likely trying to air it out. I immediately went to front desk and told them what was going on and they were not at all shocked. Manager simply says he’ll get maintenance to take a few steps to clear it up. I refused to let this ruin our one night in Paris so we said nothing and stepped out to enjoy the city and when we got back still smelled but slightly better so we ran the shower to keep the sewer smell out. Not my expectation at $1k plus for a night. We had our daughter and the suite had a pull out couch. When we realized it wasn’t set up, called the front desk for sheets, blankets, pillows etc. They never delivered so my husband slept on it instead, no sheets, took one pillow from the bed and made it work. Again, never in my years of traveling experienced such a pathetic, low budget motel experience from a so called high end hotel. I’m just glad we only booked for the night. I’m generally easy going and kinda laugh when I see reviews about conditions of a hotel but this one is truly dilapidated, smelly and ridiculously overpriced for a view. In hindsight I’d stay at a different place and just go take pics of the Eiffel Tower like everyone else. Quality of an $80 room max back here in USA. Also side note… rooftop lounge same thing, even as a guest you pay a hefty cover charge, no seating and a sorry excuse menu for tapas. Staff was ok but they were not surprised and I feel like the whole thing is highway robbery.

Lounge/disco with loud sound!!!

There is a lounge on the top floor, which is extremely loud and stays on until 1am! If you are a family travelling and thinking about stayind at this hotel, consider that it will not respect you and basic sound/disturbance law. Staff and management are unprepared to deal with this situation, basically not solving it and unable to host a family on vacation!

The rooftop is perfect or the hotel guest or if you want to experience a relaxing evening!!

The perfect location. cool and chill vibe, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Shoutout to Ishmael who surprise us with rum and gin shot.
