The hotel is very well located , within walking distance of he main Vienna city centre. The room was very clean and tidy, utensils, plates etc are provided, but would be nice if condiments are provided if doing oneself a snack. Room is not cleaned but you can ask for clean towels at reception if needed. the beds were 2 singles pushed together, The worst thing for myself was that the room was far too hot, the window could not be opened to allow fresh air in. That would put me off returning again.

Booked a studio as we have stayed in many studios before which have been spacious. This studio was very small. It looked like the bed was a sofa bed of sorts. Luckily it was made up as a bed when we arrived because we didn't have a clue how to put it away and use the sofa without causing ourselves or the bed some damage. The mattress didn't quite reach the ends of the bed meaning lots of exposed wood which dug into my legs every time I got in and put of bed. That is the only thing I didn't like about this place. The location is excellent, tram stop right outside, short walk from centre. The staff are helpful and friendly. The studio was well equipped. The bathroom was spacious. We had a look at the breakfast but didn't feel we would get €18 euros worth so we went to the supermarket across the road (as you leave the hotel entrance there is a chemist with red signage across the road, to the right of that chemist is a street with a Billa supermarket which is well stocked) We stayed 4 nights. If we return to Vienna we would definitely return to Adagio but will book a one bedroom apartment so we have more space.

The best service. The staff on every shift were so helpful and friendly. Location is great. A little expensive however I believe Vienna is always expensive for accommodation and maybe our dollar is weak at the moment.

And a special thanks to dear lovely sussane The location was perfect The view from the room was touching, We could see the river from our room The facilities were complete. We stayed at the Adagio for 6 nights. Several things were bothersome. One of the night clerks is rude and not helpful. Wish I knew her name to tell you. This is not a hotel. So don't think of it as one. Upon arrival you have to sign a contract about ways they will fine you. They don't clean the rooms unless over 7 days. You take out your own garbage. Need toilet paper - go to the front desk. The breakfast service has to be reserved a day in advance. My partner was not feeling well and after several days requested new sheets and told they don't do that unless you pay. Not even to put them on yourself. The front door locks and you need to get buzzed in somewhere after midnight. That wasn't reviewed at check in. We requested top floor. The roof is angled so you lose half the room ceiling. The Adagio is old and the rooms are fine but the carpets and walls in hallways are awful. Dirty and old. Overall for the price it is not worth it. Only saving grace is day desk clerk. She is great.
