The experience was great from the moment I checked in with Sofia. She was very friendly and informative. The hotel is beautiful and always had my camera out. I was given a gorgeous and spacious room with a view of St. Stephen's and was able to witness the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets from my room. I had breakfast only once as I thought it was overpriced but it was excellent (many healthy options.) The gym is big and complete with machines for every muscle group and the spa is a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Location is great as you can walk everywhere and the metro to Schönbrunn castle is just across the bridge from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Vienna.. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff, particularly Thomas and Boris, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering valuable advice. The only downside was the bed, featuring two mattresses instead of one, which was a bit inconvenient, though the staff did their best to ensure comfort. The hotel impressed with its cleanliness and an excellent location.

I was in Sofitel Vienna in October 2023 for 3 days. Very poor experience. The room dirty at arrival, some furniture broken, lights did not work properly. Breakfast really standard, below the hotel category. Only positive point: Views from the restaurant.

Just Okay for second visit
Modern hotel in great location, clean and quiet room with St. Stepen church view. Free mini bar with juice, water (2 regular and 2 with bubble bottles), potato chips and chocolate bar. We only drink regular water, requested it to refilled with all regular bottle but didn't get it. Chips and chocolate bar are not refilled daily. Front desk staffs are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast good quality but not too many choices as my last visit. Kind of disappointed.
