ibis budget Porto Alegre 2 étoiles

Good for the price! Hotel is downtown near the famous “Mercadão” or the City Market. It’s an Ibis Budget and it stands to the brand, if you ever stayed in other Ibis hotels you know what to wait for! For those who have never stayed keep in mind that this hotel offers smaller bedrooms, I really don’t care depending on the kind of travel I’m taking, and in this case I just needed a clean bed and bedroom and this hotel offers this! The only problem I found was that there were no power outlets next to the bed, so I needed to charge my phone away from me. The breakfast was good and the service upon arrival was absolutely excellent! I would definitely return for the cost-benefit!

Good sleep and clean rooms. Reception crew is not enough supportive. Also the parking facility is not easy and safety, guests have to leave your car keys to a valet driver and wait a lot to be able to get the car.

The hotel is excellent for the price we pay. Breakfast is fine, rooms are clean and it's very quiet. The area is a little dodgy in the evening, but otherwise very good. I wasn't impressed with customer service though; they wanted to give me and my son a double room although I booked a triple. I explained that as bigger person, I need the double bed for myself and my son sleeps in the single, and they finally let us have it (I had booked online a triple room anyway!) but only the double bed was made with sheets. They refused to make up the single because we are only 2 people. They ended up . giving me sheets and I had to make the single bed for my son myself.

In the bedroom floor we found balls of dust, the walls has some stains, the sink was almost clogged, but the worst was the shower room. The floor and walls of the box had mold and small flies. I took pictures. I didn't change the room because it was late and we were very tired. Certainly was my worst stay até Ibis.

L'hotel est moderne et propre. Le personnel est agreable et patient malgre qu'il ne parle que portuguais. La chambre est tres bien rapport qualite/prix (il n'y a pas de shampooing ni seche cheveux). L'hotel est bien situé mais n'a pas de restaurants/bars aux alentours, il faut donc considerer prendre la voiture ou le taxi pour manger a l'exterieur. Petit dejeuner continental normal.
