Jak na 4 gwiazdki hotel wypada bardzo slabo. Parking prywatny zapełniony, po zapytaniu obsługi co mam zrobić w przypadku braku miejsca do zaparkowania uzyskałem informacje "zaparkuj obok hotelu". Skoro nie ma wolnych miejsc to dlaczego szlaban wpuszcza kolejne auta. Pokoje dosyć przestronne ale wentylacja buczy bardzo głośno całą noc i jedna bardzo mała poduszka na łóżku przez co totalnie się nie wyspałem.

Mercure Ostrava Center to hotel bardzo dobrze położony, w pobliżu Rynku w Ostrawie. Dojazd jest wygodny, a pieszo wszędzie blisko – zarówno do rozrywkowego centrum miasta, jak i do sklepów. Sam budynek architektonicznie przypomina hotele wyższej klasy. Pokój jest bardzo przyjemny, a okna w starym stylu dodają mu wyjątkowej atmosfery. Niestety, łóżka mogłyby być lepsze – przypominają raczej te znane z hoteli ibis budget lub ibis. W pokoju klasycznym dostępna jest tylko jedna poduszka na gościa, a materac jest dość cienki. Śniadania są dobre, z wyborem lokalnych produktów. Warto byłoby jednak rozważyć większy wybór opcji low-fat lub ich wyraźne oznaczenie. Zespół hotelu zasługuje na 5 gwiazdek – bardzo uprzejmy, uczynny, kulturalny i otwarty na potrzeby gości. Ogólnie polecam Mercure Ostrava Center :)
