Best location as centrally located in old quarter which makes it convenient for shopping , train street is just 5 mins away !! Value for money ! Staff is v courteous n helpful , even they upgraded my room as I was travelling with kids ! Highly recommend.

I had such a great time staying at Mercure Hanoi La Gare! The location is perfect, close to all the main spots and super convenient for getting around. The staff were fantastic—so friendly and helpful. They really made me feel welcome and went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast, which had so many great options to choose from. Everything was fresh and tasty. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

We stayed Mercure Hanoi la Gare for 5 nights. It is conveniently located near Old Quarter, just 15 mins walk away. Not so noisy as compared to the hotels in Old Quarter. Hanoi Laundry Town is just 200m from the hotel too. Hotel staff are super friendly, always getting our requests fulfilled efficiently. Many commendable staff, such as Ngoc and Nguyen. :)

We visited this hotel twice before actually staying here. We were able to leave our luggage here for 3 days while we went to other places, and we had breakfast here after getting off the night train from Sapa. The service we received was at all times wonderful. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Meals and drinks were reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices, both Vietnamese and Western. I would have given a score of 5 if the bathroom didn't have multiple strands of someone else's hair in the shower and on the vanity. I don't know how housekeeping could miss it

Perfect stayed for us as this Mercure Hanoi la Gare is located a stone throw to the train station. If you are planning to catch the evening train or arrive Hanoi by train. Not only that reason, the room is very clean and spacious, the staffs are super nice and helpful.
