My stay at Ibis Styles Ao Nang was a mixed experience. The hotel has some definite highlights: the staff were pleasant and welcoming, the location is reasonably convenient, and the backdrop of the towering boulder mountain is absolutely stunning. Additionally, the pool area, bar, and massage service were good and reasonably priced, and the concierge and booking service were efficient and helpful. Unfortunately, these positives were overshadowed by some significant drawbacks. The hotel itself is clearly old, and the maintenance left much to be desired. There was visible mould in the shower grouting and on the walls, which was concerning. Furthermore, the air-conditioning unit appeared to have not been cleaned in some time. This likely contributed to the nasty chest infection I developed during my stay—something I wouldn’t expect from an Accor property. Breakfast was inconsistent; when it was good, it was enjoyable, but on off days, it was unappetizing and often left untouched. As an ALL - Accor Live Limitless Platinum Member, the overall experience fell far below expectations. While the staff and setting had potential, the condition of the facilities and health-related concerns made this stay disappointing.

I had a wonderful stay at Ibis Krabi! The room was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The hotel's location is fantastic, with everything conveniently within walking distance—beautiful beaches, delicious halal food options, and even a mosque nearby for prayers. It's an ideal place for a relaxing and hassle-free vacation. Highly recommended, especially for Muslim travelers!

Nice pool area, terrible breakfast

Currently staying here as a family. We were able to get interconnecting rooms as requested and overlooking the pool, so very happy about that. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and good for the price point. We love the pool area, great music playing and cocktails available. The only disappointment we have is the buffet breakfast. If you want a good buffet breakfast then don't come here! Yesterday we came at 6 when it first opened, so fully stocked. Not a huge selection though. Croissants, toast, eggs, a few hot selections, cereal, 2x fruit, coffee and juice. No pancakes, bacon, omelettes or yoghurt. Today we came at 9:30 and everything was close to empty or empty. It wasn't busy though and they were still open for another hour. I don't think they restock unless you ask. I had to ask for butter and more croissants. The only fruit they had was dragon fruit. They ran out of watermelon. All the hot selections were stone cold!

Property is well located and at a walking distance from the beach. However, I felt it needs upgrade as the rooms were little old and not looking fresh. Breakfast was good.

I must travel 80 nights a year and I am an Accor Hotels. If you rebrand your hotel from Ibis to Ibis Styles while maintaining the same standard amenities, what is the difference for the guest other than a higher price? This is my third visit, nothing improves regardless of feedback. In the room, the soap provided does not seems the same standard of Ibis Styles. The TV offered 28 channels, yet only 10 were functional, with three news channels in English. There were no English movie channels. At breakfast at 6:30 a.m, the chafing dish was full of overcooked scrambled eggs, despite only about 20 patrons being present. My last visit was the same old Ibis coffee machine was used, serving instant coffee. This time, the huge coffee machine only dispensed hot water. Burnt coffee was served from an urn. The coffee was so poor I decided to use my free drink voucher. I was informed that I could only get beer, wine, or juice but not coffee. On my first day we left the hotel at 7 a.m. and returned at 4:30 p.m, only to find that the room had not been cleaned.
