We recently stayed at the So Bangkok and had a wonderful experience overall. When we first checked in, we were a bit disappointed with the room we were assigned. It looked a little tired, with scratches on the furniture and some wear-and-tear visible. However, we decided to kindly ask for a room change, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Teddy at the front desk was especially helpful and professional, and we were soon moved to a room on a higher floor that was in much better condition – it was clean, modern, and comfortable. Throughout our stay, we encountered friendly and attentive staff who went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant experience. The service was top-notch, and it really made a difference in our stay. The pool, however, was a bit cold for our liking, but that was a minor issue. All in all, we had a great time at the So Bangkok and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a stylish, well-located hotel with exceptional service. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful hotel with an impressive buffet, excellent spa, and top notch pools and fitness amenities. The hotel was massive, beautifully decorated, the staff was accommodating and helpful. The room was luxurious. There are a few restaurants located within the hotel which offered various choices for food. They were all excellent.

Now dont get me wrong SO Bangkok is a nice hotel, the staff great and it’s well located for easy access around central Bangkok. We have stayed there before and enjoyed the ability to relax pool side on the 10 floor infinity pool overlooking the Park. However what is important to know is that at present January 25 there is a massive demolition project going on right next door to the hotel and that means noise ….. lots of it. Now sure this is not the hotels fault, and there is nothing they can do about it… BUT …… Had I known about this in advance I would have booked elsewhere and looked forward to returning to SO some time in the future when the future building works get completed . Which clearly may take some time.

In chocolab, the chef and assistants are friendly and helpful. Described about chocolate and the technique to do it in details. Using the good quality of chocolate. The little girl is fun and full of chocolates. Many ingredients to decorate.

We absolutely adore this property and have just completed yet another multi-week luxury stay. The property itself is so very gorgeous, especially if you are lucky enough to land in the 'theme' room of your choice. We are particularly fond of the Water and Wood rooms/suites and not so much the Metal (very stark and white) - but others love them. So the advice is to pre-emptively put in a request for your preferred 'element' and be less likely to be disappointed. The nearness to Lumphini Park is also great. You can run or walk or just sit and enjoy the many cats and squirrels and water monitors. Or bicycle using one of the hotel's bikes. There is an MRT station a few minutes' walk away, which makes getting around BKK so easy. And the new One Bangkok development across the road (which we were concerned was going to turn out to be another Icon Siam or such full of garish lights etc) is a real boon to the neighbourhood. Shops, restaurants, salons for hair and nails, supermarkets ... there is really no need to move from the Lumphini area at all! Of course, it goes without saying that the SO/ employs only the best, most engaged and engaging staff. To a fault, everyone is there to help you have the best experience. Whether it's the smiley staff who greet you at both entry doors, or the amazing team in the executive lounge, or even the housekeeping staff, we have never encountered anything other than complete professionalism and dedication to service. Bravo, bravo, bravo to the SO/ Bangkok for maintaining such a high standard, and being simply and consistently the best SEA property we have stayed at in our 25 years of travel in the area.
