The facility meets the standard expectations for an Ibis Budget and is situated in a great location, a short distance from a bus stop and within walking distance to the lake. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by a sour smell in two out of the three rooms we had. We won’t risk staying here again.

Some strange smells in the rooms and in the hallway to the rooms. Sent a email before asking if the stay could be added to my ALl account, it has been confirmed then at the hotel informed that ibis budget do not count.

Service from both reception and housekeeping was excellent. Resolved transportation to Malpensa Airport and Lugano local orientation extremely well . Housekeeping cleaned room with very high cleanliness and attention.

Excellent budget hotel.

This is an excellent choice of budget hotel. The rooms are very samll but perferctly clean and functional. The location is also very good, about a 5 minute walk from the lake and promenade and not so far from the town centre - easy walking distance. If you are on a budget then this is the pace to stay in Lugarno and very good value by Swiss standards.

Quite strange room with an old uncomfortable beds, but breakfast was great and you can get the Tichino card there.
