Lovely hotel, but on the very edge of busy!

Loved this hotel for the price that we paid. Handy laundry room with an iron in the hotel. Nice pool with massages, restaurant and bar. Free pool table, clean, good children’s facilities. Can’t always go on the beach as the tide comes right up. My only criticism is that it’s on the very edge of Fisherman’s Village. The night market was a 20 minute walk along a busy road.

We had a lovely time; the hotel's facilities were great! We even enjoyed a massage. The grounds/gardens were great for relaxing/playing with our toddler. The room was on the small side though (for the price), our balcony was none existent and had no view other than the half completed complex next door.

Frightening that this kind of review could lead to increasing prices 😁, I confess that this hotel was a wonderful and pleasant surprise. Despite the good rating I found on different platforms, I thought that 3 stars could not be more than 3 stars and I remained a bit sceptical. Not only all my expectations (according to the reviews) were confirmed, but many of them were exceeded. The room, despite the smaller space (this was not a surprise - it’s an Ibis) was very decent, clean and very well organised (I tend to believe that the building was recently renovated), the breakfast was more (in the good way) beyond the classification of the hotel, the garden, the pools, the beach area, sun loungers, umbrellas etc. - everything exceeded the hotel’s standard. And, of course, the staff: everyone was very attentive, smiling, approachable, and eager to accommodate any request. Thank you Ibis Samui Bophut for this experience. We regretted that we didn’t plan a longer holiday. Maybe next year (if you'll not reset your price policy, as I said 🙂)...
