Gem of a hotel

The hotel is in a great area within 10 minute walk to the Mall of the Emirates and in the opposite direction to the metro Mashreq, taxis were plentiful I downloaded the Careem taxi app and you can book from anywhere the longest we ever waited was 5 mins. The hotel also have a taxi available with a set fare. There is a free bus to take you to kite beach which is fabulous with lots of seating areas food outlets and a mini market. We travelled at the end of October for three weeks, we checked in and were upgraded to a family suite. The room was big with two bathrooms one of which had a bath. The bed and pillows were very comfy and Shahid our housekeeper always checked we had enough towels and water and kept the room in very good order. We stayed half board and found a good selection of choice at breakfast and lunch or dinner, the staff in the restaurant were always very busy. Nagla always had a smile on her face and always took time to speak Samuel was a very polite man and it was lovely to speak to him. The pool area was lovely with sun beds and towels the guys Adellu Buya and Indika kept the area dry for people walking around, they cleaned used towels ready for the next guests. We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary while we were there and were suprised with a lovely cake red roses and a gift from the hotel manager and his team, thank you to everyone who made our stay special we will be back.

Beeakfast & Lunch Buffet!

I did not stay in this hotel but rather in Ibis Mall Avanue. But the breakfast and lunch of these two hotels are shared because they are same group of companies. I just want to compliment two outstanding servers during breakfast and lunch and that is SAMUEL & NAGLAA. I’ve stayed at Ibis for 4D/3N and everytime I have my breakfast and lunch they come and greet me with their lovely and warm smile. They made every meals even more enjoyable eat! Food are great everyday. They don’t have huge selections during lunch, but everything served taste really well. Breakfast have great selections and some hot dishes which can give you more energy every morning. Thank you!

Nice and comfortable Family Stay with very courteous staff

Location - Nice location with connectivity through Metro. It's a 10-15 minute walk from mashreq metro station. you can also walk from the mall of Emirates to the hotel.onve you reach metro station all the places to see are well connected through the metro. There are restaurants nearby. There is an Indian South Indian restaurant at 2 minutes walk. Novotel and Ibis are next to each other. Both hotels share the dining area and buffet breakfast. Staff - Very helpful and courteous staff. right from reception, hk and at restaurant. Breakfast - Nice filling breakfast. For Indian vegetarians (us) there will always be 1 south indian dish + 1 north vegetable and paratha. additional juices, fruits, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, various breads, bread butter, salad, fresh fruits. it will be filling for all. there is a separate children's buffet (small table). for non-vegetarians, everything you can think will be there. Room - we stayed on the first floor. Nice and very silent room. no fans in the room only ac. room sufficient for 1 adult and 1 child. bit small but easily manageable. bathroom and toilet is separate. bathroom has a bath tub and separate area in the same bathroom (very small) for showers.

Great Location and Service, but Some Room Comfort Issues

Our stay at the hotel had both positive aspects and a few minor drawbacks. The location is excellent, making it easy to access nearby attractions and restaurants. The food is quite good as well, though the breakfast options could use a bit more variety as they felt repetitive over our stay. Housekeeping was reliable, and our room was cleaned well each day. However, we found the pillows uncomfortable, and the pull-out sofa in our room for four was a real downside. The mattress felt very worn out, with a noticeable bar in the middle, which made it nearly impossible for two children to sleep comfortably on it. This could definitely be improved to better accommodate families. On the positive side, the WiFi was fast and stable, which was very convenient. The front desk staff were fantastic—attentive and efficient, handling all our requests without any issues. Overall, the rooms could use a bit of freshening up, like a new coat of paint in some areas, but the hotel’s good location and high standard of service make it a solid choice.
