Ishga experience

Me and my daughter had the Ishga Face and Body experience with Charlotte and Laura today, it was really relaxing and we almost fell asleep, we really enjoy this treatment, It's the second time we've had it and my daughter wants it for every birthday and Christmas from now on.

Good Value For City Centre

This hotel has some really good points. Noise from other rooms is very minimal. The hoover used by housekeeping is quiet, and they are helpful. Good bed. Very central location. The heating is good, but it takes a while to climb up to my required 30 °C. If you booked this for a spa break, please note the spa is underground, so ventilation is via air conditioning, and it was very humid, no natural light and the floors were slippery and dangerous. However I am very tall and often slip. The windows did not open and were dirty. I have very high expectations and am not easy to please. I would come back but only if coupled with a theatre visit and pre booked restaruants. Allow £30 per day for parking. Very clean bedrooms. very large. Great staff. I know my review is not great, but this is worth a visit

Just returned after a 2 night stay. Had a lovley time again . Great location beautiful breakfast. Staff are really friendly and helpful nothing to much trouble. See you again in March for our next 2 day visit.

Attention to detail

Called in for pre drinks before going to a show. I’ve been and stayed there for many years. First time was 14 years ago when the lounge was clean and looked new. Now the same dirty yellow chairs are ruining it! Either replace them, clean or recover! The entrance steps are dangerous as they have a good few chunks missing on the edges, I’d be surprised if nobody had fallen. This time they were disgustingly dirty with cigarette butts , a minutes job for a cleaner . FRONT OF HOUSE! Whoever is manager then have some pride in the place! Toilets , paper rolls all over the floor, waste bin full! Some housekeeping is really letting the place down. I don’t like to see it deteriorate and it won’t stop me going in as I’ve such happy memories there. I just wanted to make a point . It cost £18 for two glasses of wine, so it’s taking the money , just make it a bit better experience by making it clean please.

People burst into our hotel room while there.

At 10:30 I had a cleaning lady burst into the room while we were still there, even though there was signage on the door not to enter. The reception apologised and offered to provide a late checkout at 2pm. However, at 12:30pm they had given a key to the room for another guest and he then burst straight into the room without warning. It was an absolute terrible experience to have someone enter your privacy in a hotel room twice on the same day.
