Fantastic variety and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The service was quick to clear plates, and the dessert station was a highlight. Definitely coming back! A special thanks to the staff—Luisa, Mae, Brian, Chris, and Shirley—for their exceptional service. They truly made our dining experience memorable!

Club Lounge Service Below Sofitel Standard

The Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 has a great location. The room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping was outstanding – rooms were always perfectly refreshed after just a few hours away. However, the club lounge service fell short of expectations for a 5-star property. The female staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and professional. In contrast, some of the male staff often spoke in a rather stiff tone and at times lacked professionalism in their attitude. For example, one male staff member named Russell was seen making what appeared to be his own coffee using the guest bar machine while looking at his phone in front of guests, before heading to the back. The lounge also operates on a system where the next drink is only provided after the previous one is completely finished, which makes it difficult to enjoy a variety of beverages despite it being a lounge. Overall, the lounge experience was disappointing compared to the hotel’s other strong points.
